At this point, TJ's trade value is utterly zero. Even before his injury, teams would have wanted Jose over TJ. So now, he's going to have embrace a permanent job as a backup because Jose is here to stay. Martin and Dixon will not be Raptors beyond this season. Still, I'm scared about TJ, since he'll probably cry and complain if he doesn't regain the starting job...

Perhaps
Even before his injury, teams would have wanted Jose over TJ.
How so?.. TJ was putting up NBA starting PG type of numbers. to say that people would have wanted Jose instead of TJ before the injury(ies) is a bunch of horse crap.

so you are making the determination that Jose is now the starting PG for life? you related to Ms. Cleo?
Still, I'm scared about TJ, since he'll probably cry and complain if he doesn't regain the starting job...
he hasn't shown any signs that he is that type of character.. why are you bringing this up now? TJ has deferred to Jose before.

whether or not tj or jose starts, jose should get the lion's share of minutes. he's more efficient than tj. but whatever, maybe sam will just go with whoever has it going on a game by game basis. i wouldn't be upset that happened.
sure, he may not be a bad character guy, but let's just see how he handles being a backup in limited minutes over the rest of the season...
jose has (and had) more value because he does a lot more than tj. his ass/to ratio has always been great, and his shooting % is also fantastic. he's got great size for a pg, and his team-oriented attitude ooze off of him while he's on the court. because of tj's injury when he was a buck, teams would be hesitant. jose's been as durable as anyone would want. i think teams would want jose more, even before tj's al horford run in. you could debate it, but i bet gms would agree with me...

that is debatable..

i honestly think he won't have an issue with it.. he is making his money.. and is getting back to game shape.

I'm sorry.. I will disagree with you on that Jose always 'had' more value. That statement just reeks with bias.
he's got great size for a pg, and his team-oriented attitude ooze off of him while he's on the court.
He is good size for a PG.. but bad instincts on defense... both PGs are team oriented.. don't forget this.

i don't think i would agree with that statement.
