NBA stock market..

Post#1 » by RapsVC15 » Sun Jan 20, 2008 3:47 am

www.protrade.com

Just thought I'd share (thought I'd post it here, mods can move it where ever if the think it's inappropriate.)

Anyone else play this? It's free. Just buy shares in teams or individual players. Isn't just limited to the NBA, has NFL, MLB, NCAA, etc. as well.

Pretty addictive, so far this is how my portfolio looks like:

- bought a ton of shares in Bargnani (buy low sell high )
- Golden State earned me a ton of return (bought some shares when they sucked)
- bought decent amount of shares in Bosh and Ford
- picked up a lot of shares in Bibby
- got shares in stackhouse, antonio daniels, and jason maxiell
- betting the house on the Raptors winning 50 games (stock currently 99.24 down .8 cents after tonights loss :( )

Just though I'd share..

Yea a few of us were playing around with it last year...i lost intertest after about a month...

Same with the NBA stock Market game on NBA.com

I think just straight up fantasyball is still the best NBA esque simulation game not on xbox or ps

But didn't you say you redeemed your points for a Raptor clock? So I should send Raptor merchandise to some random American? What if it's *gasp* a VC fan in NJ? ...or did you mean a virtual Raptor clock?

My bad forgot to post this.

People in Canada actually don't get to redeem any of their points (lol I know) unless your using a relatives address or something. I'm actually using one of my close friends postal who lives up in Buffalo. Picked up my clock from him a couple weeks ago. But still, it's pretty fun just picking stocks and seeing how things go. jockstocks.com is another one you can check out.
