It wasn't that the guys were making jumpshots today, it was how they set them up. The team had 32 assists today on 40 made FGs which is pretty ridiculous. The International-style ballmovement was in full effect and showed the offensive potential of the team. If Bosh could change the pace he plays at to become a bigger part of those multiple quick-pass offensive sets, then we would probably have the best offense in the league. That should be this teams identity anyway, we just rarely see it.
As for the rebounding and turnovers, well Boston is a great defensive and good rebounding team, so those things happen sometimes. But again it just goes to show how good our team can be when the pace of our offensive sets is high and the good quality shots it results in. We won in spite of our deficiencies.

We're 16-3 against teams with losing records this season. There's not very much that you can complain with that. The Suns and the Warriors both lost to the rock-bottom TWolves this week.
the suns and warriors lose to the twolves because nobody can guard big al
but i see your point, i guess we'll see about this with the bucks coming to town.

Well I'm still trying to figure out how the heck we won. As many turnovers we had and rebounds we gave up...it just doesn't make sense. I always notice how Chuck and Leo are always talking about how bad the Raps play at certain times but yet how they are still in the game. It's true alot of times, this team is just soo crazy. Watching this game it never really felt like we were gonna win, and then BAM we pulled it out at the end. I really don't know what to think, but I'm happy we won.
Would also be good for the team I have in the pool I'm in

Some insight from our great RealGMers, if you please
Hell no.
The only thing they found tonight was their shooting stroke, and it was one of the rare few games a team has in a season where everything works for them, (Kind of) and they still barely beat Boston.
If the raps can string together a 14-6 record in the next 20 then we can talk

It seems to me, the Raptors have had an identity for some time now.
When we have two healthy PGs, and therefore have a top 10-15 pg in the league coming off the bench, our bench appears to be solid. But at the moment, with Dixon running the offense, our bench is exposed as being pretty poor. Until we get a healthy TJ back, this part of our identity is gone.

To me, our identity on offence consists of five things:
1. the pick and roll
2. great ball movement and unselfishness
3. great outside shooting
4. Bosh isolation plays
5. low turnovers
We've been missing the ball movement this year, but it's gotten a lot better recently.
Offensively, when it's working these five things are enough. The question is whether our defence and rebounding can be good enough for us to beat the elite teams.
