Oh my, Bill Laimbeer being hired to help Bargnani would be like rehab for a crackhead. Not only would he be able to kick Bargs in the ass to get him motivated, but he would teach him some toughness, and grit, along with teh essential skills. Bargnani would be amazing playing as even half the player Laimbeer was.

NBA analysist expected more from Bargnani

Seems that those of us on the board who we're supposedly "Bargs Lovers" wern't the only ones who saw his potential and expected more from him this season.

Broussard: Very sad to see Andrew Bynum go down for two months with a knee injury. The Lakers looked to be headed for a special season; now they may have to wait until next year.
Knicks' drama has become sordid and sad, turning that hallowed franchise not into a laughingstock but a nightmare.
I'm also disappointed in the play of Toronto's Andrea Bargnani. I expected him to emerge into a star (or near star) this season.

is it better than the Jose vs TJ crowd? No seriously, I mean, everyone in the world had some form of expectation for Bargnani's game this year, and he simply hasn't lived up to them so far.
regardless of how good he can or should be, we need him to be better now, as he is a key player on this team. when he plays we, we are a much, much better team...

Someone else posted this bit from the Celtics Board (audio link on right side of page -- Smitch Pregame). Its a great discussion by Smitch of Bargs and his development, starting around the 7-8 min mark and going on for 4-5 minutes. Really good insights.
My summary:-
Not worried about Andrea
Young player, his game has to evolve, in the process of doing it
Nothing wrong with a young player having problems, will make him better
Andrea is working hard
Great attitude, great work ethic
Accepting what he's beeen taught
Has talent
Wants to be great and has the right attitude
People thought Jose could not play first year also
Has to be able to punish smaller guys on him by taking them down low

the good part was that those comments were done in the PRE-GAME, so it wasn't in response to one good game.
