Sam senses win streak
"I feel like we have the confidence (to go on a streak) and I know we're going to play hard and compete," Mitchell said.
"(But) the key is getting enough of our guys consistent. If we can get six, seven guys playing consistent basketball, then you can win six, seven, eight (in a row), because that's what it takes.
"Two guys playing great is not going to do it. You need that fourth of fifth guy, whether they're in your starting lineup, or coming off the bench."
Game Day
The Bucks are struggling, currently last in the Central Division (16-26, not including last night's game). They have lost three in a row heading into yesterday's game against the Indiana Pacers and are 5 -19 on the road. Part of their problems is a lack of rebounding. The Bucks pull in less rebounds than the Raptors, averaging just 40.47 per game. Another problem is a lack of scoring. Michael Redd is eighth in the NBA in scoring (22.9), but when teams key on him, the offence doesn't produce that much.
Raps fly under radar
The Raptors marched into Boston and defeated the NBA's best team, and their exploits were not front page news across the NBA, or even in some Toronto media outlets.
Head coach Sam Mitchell was asked again yesterday if his club's lack of recognition around the NBA, and at home, bothers him or his players. Playing in Canada always has reduced the Raptors to also-ran status in terms of recognition south of the border, and they always have been poor cousins to the Leafs in this market.

They just couldn't get past the popularity factor.
The Star
Calderon's all-star chances slim
The Raptors are making an obvious effort as an organization to gain Jose Calderon a reserve roster spot at this year's all-star game Feb.17. You can hear it on radio and watch it on TV. But it's an uphill climb that may end badly.
Winning streak could be coming
"Andrea's been doing well. I've been saying for the past three weeks that I'm not overly worried about Andrea, he's been working," said Mitchell. "And if you have talent, sooner or later it's going to come to the forefront. ... If you have your confidence, the rest will come."
