Saturday's game discussion

Post#1 » by kingr » Sun Jan 27, 2008 2:07 am

Well this is a half-assed version. I just wanted to let people know the hornets were playing on the score right now, for any cp3+ fans. Since I didn't see a dicussion thread, I just made one.

Editing the title just because it's no longer yesterday. -Schad.

Hornets!

But yeah they are playing well. Chris Paul isn't having much of a scoring night but his 9 assists make up for that.

i officially believe in the hornets now. i always thought they would eventually have drop in play, but they are FOR REAL.

i think they are probably the best team in the league. d-west is underrated. he is very similiar to bosh and has solid J. he can't create 1-1 like Bosh, but his post game is ahead of boshs at this time. if peja can stay consistent, they could easily win championship.

c-paul is always going to get the love, but their coach scott is a PREMIER coach. he always has his team playing hard and with heart. nets made the finals due to their defense and this hornets team look like their heading to the finals on their defense as well.

GO HORNETS!

Wow. Spurs can't knock down anything. West is playing beast-like. Hornets FTW.

Lol at knickerbocker's post. A teams performance in the regular season does cannot make them the best team in the league. The playoffs will determine that. I can tell you for a FACT that the Spurs aren't playing there playoff type basketball.

West has been pretty good for a while now, he has just developed his game season by season and has always sort of reminded me of Bosh.

Patience is key with young players, they dont just become great overnight.

He averaged 18 ppg last year and averaged 17 ppg the season before. what he's doing this year shouldn't surprise anyone.

He had a good game stats wise but his defense on Magette and Thomas was down right awful
