Love it...
There is nothing in that interveiw that crossed the line, and it was entertaining and funny. If anyone has a problem with Smitch-isms than unfortunatly you are out of luck for at least a couple more years. Than maybe we will end up with someone boring like Lenny Wilkins.

Sam is a hands-on teacher on how to be a good reporter. Some of this puckhead reporters, should be tested before being allowed to represent TO media that follows NBA.
No wonder we don't get good NBA coverage in TO with this (Please Use More Appropriate Word) reporters. They should be fired and replace with people that do at least have some common sense.
Remember the guy who asks Sam if he feels good after wining in Boston?
I bet some of these moron reporters are also posting on RealGM (making most ignore lists). Too bad, when dealing with reporters, Sam doesn't get the option of an ignore list...on the other hand, he gets a chance to educate them...
Gotta love Smitch's comments!

Aside from being one of the most quotable people in sports, I have to think that the beat guys love Sam simply because he breaks the monotony; most players will spout the same trite stuff every time (as they probably should), and Sam's aware that if he becomes the focal point of attention, the media will spend less time hovering over the players, trying to push them into saying something noteworthy. It's a great strategy: Sam gets to be Sam, the media guys get material for stories, and the players can focus on basketball.

**** your asterisk.
