Damon Stoudamire still an Ex-Raptor, Expected to join Spurs

Post#1 » by James699 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 3:08 am

With the injury to Tony, Damon has decided to join the Spurs, where he will get good playing time. This is really sad for some of us Damon fans, I really wanted to see him here.

Good move by the Spurs and a good move for Damon. He'll get a ton of playing time and might even end up winning a ring.

Nah, Damon will be Nick Van Exel part 2 for them. I honestly don't think this signing makes much of a difference.

Is a washed up mighty mouse that much of an improvement over Jacque Vaughn?

it was the expected move with Pop shelving Tony today. Don't know how well Damon can move after his crippling injury last year, but this is a solid pick up off the waiver wires. Kinda sad he's not coming to T.O, but TJ is ready to report to practice, and Dixon is showing some nice flashes....whether he's tradebait or not. Our situation improved in house....and I'll take that over a free agent signing any day.

Damon hasn't had this much pub since he was ROY. After all this time in the news, he'll end up an afterthought on the Spurs' bench. Especially in the playoffs. But I'm glad for him. My favourite Rap of all time.
