Peja in my opinion is better than AP as an open jumpshooter. If I had to guess, I think it's going to be him and Kapono in the finals this year. It wouldn't surprise me if Kapono sets the record this year as well.

As it is, Parker would likely struggle in the 3-point competition. The speed/accuracy aspect greatly favours set-shooters like Kapono over jump shooters like Parker. Parker would probably run out of time leaving 2-4 balls in the last rack.


Guys with much quicker releases than Parker have had to rush to finish and sometimes even left balls on the rack. I'm not even convinced AP would make it to that last rack.
