Wow, i never would of thought of that! I mean a team that now has THREE young emerging PGs will throw alot of money at Jose.. That worries me greatly.

memphis has so many point guards. isn't conley the pg of the future? what's the point of signing jose.

I think they're set with Conley as their future PG.

Memphis is not going to pursue Calderon.

Our GM said today that we may not spend our cap money this offseason.

He says that the free agent class will be better the next year and we'll also have more money.

We're completely rebuilding now. We have some promising PGs already. Hell, we have a TJ Ford clone in Conley.

I will say this though. Kyle Lowry will most likely be traded, rather than Conley or Crittenton.

We'll pursue either a big man or shooting guard in the offseason depending on how the draft works out, if we get Beasley or Eric Gordon. You get the point.

Could the mods start deleting any posts that involve trading Graham/Baston/Dixon for a quality player?

No GM is taking our garbage...............although Dixon's just mediocre.

Agreed.

On another note, Miami should have offered the massive expirings of Ricky Davis and Jason Williams + a couple of future firsts for Gasol and Cardinal.
That would have allowed Memphis to rebuild immediately and the picks would have been about the same.

No reason for a Calderon when you just used the #4 pick on a talented point guard

I am so pissed with this trade! How can you give your best player for nothing. At least with Chicago they could have Gordon or Deng. How come we never make trade like that.

It's like give our valued #1 plus few scrubs for Yao Ming.

Because they can. And why not pair up Conley and Jose? Conley is still on his rookie contract.

Jose vs. Conley vs. Navarro vs. Lowry vs. Crittenton threads. HOLY
