Ok then I misunderstood what was going on in that video. I was assuming they were introducing the starters (eg. last year's game) :oops:

Didn't VC wanted to trade the 4th pick, and not Chris Bosh himself? Either way, even though everything worked out perfectly, I can't fault VC for wanting veteran presence to help the team immediately at the time.

I remember when Chris was a Freshman there was some interview where the person was saying that Bosh reminded them of David Robinson in his Freshman year . . . could be that that comparison stuck in people's minds?

That said, Isn't Bosh the same age now as Robinson was his first year in the league? 4 Years of school + 2 years in service, no?
