The only problems are his contract and I don't think we have the pieces to make it happen

lol @ contract comment. if we're one of the elite teams after adding him, why the hell are you so worried? Our salary cap situation isn't going to be tremendously different than it is right now, except we'd be a much better team.

This is the type of game where a Mike Miller really helps.

I've said this before, while our offense is explosive, when a team really keys in on it, they can shut it down & we can go through droughts.

Mike isn't a crazy guy in terms of creating his own shot, but he's good and when surrounded by alot of good shooters, he can create for himself or the team.

We lack that big time from the wing position.

I agree--this team has no second scorer, a guy that create his own shot consistently. When teams really key on Bosh, the rest of the team often struggles ot pick up the slack.

Miller might not be the "ideal" wing for us, but he's clearly better than any wing on our team and thus would be welcomed. I like his rebounding too.

HA HA, i'd really laugh if it wasn't tragic to think some of you would want to have Mike Miller on this team :)

TMacs love interest from his Orlando days on a raptors team....... hmmm is this a ploy to get TMac to Toronto?

Surprise, surprise... the Raptors are interested in Mike Miller of all people. Of course BC would love a player like him...

People criticize Miller for being a jumpshooter. At this point, Miller takes fewer jumpers than T-Mac. He also hits more jumpers than T-Mac. He also hits more lay-ups than T-Mac. And misses fewer games, and has a better contact.

I'd rather pay the price for Miller than for T-Mac.

Miller can be a first option given the chance.

Just ask Pau Gasol.

Gasol was simply pulling a VC in hopes of getting outta there. Look how inspired he's playing.

I didn't go through the entire 23 pages but it appears that some people actually want Miller on the Raptors. Don't you realize that signing him doesn't address any of our needs, our problem isn't outside shooting, its' defensive rebounding and perimeter defense, two areas where Miller doesn't help us.

His rebounding numbers are inflated, you might look at his 6.7RPG and say "Oh man, we could use 7 rebounds a game" but it doesn't work that way. He's not a guy who can get you contested rebounds, he's a decent rebounder for a G but on defense he doesn't operate down low which is where we lose the rebounding battle.

Return to Toronto Raptors
