Strength of Schedule

Post#1 » by user name » Sun Feb 10, 2008 4:13 pm

Thought some of you would like to see this documentation about how much tougher of a schedule the Raptors have played than anyone else in the East. They are fourth in the NBA on the list and the only Eastern team in the top nine on SOS.

Yeah but they're also behind Boston, Detroit and Orlando - and just ahead of Cleveland - based on RPI (which considers SOS).

They are where we would expect them to be - although, honestly, they could probably be ahead of Orlando if the team was playing its best.

This was a lot more promising a few weeks ago when we weren't losing to some of the teams we should easily have beaten. We've played well so far considering the schedule, but I don't expect to us to look that much better than we have so far. We're a really good team. Still not a contender.

really it doesn't matter how easy our schedule gets if we can't beat teams like the clippers at home
