The only way I would want Curry on this team is if my idol (Ishiah Thomas) trades Curry and a 1st round draft pick for Rasho and Hump , I would do that in an instant. Otherwise no. I remember a year ago a lot of teams wanted this guy, he is not the same guy he was. Thats what happens to everyone playing for Knicks. ie Anfernee Hardaway, Allan Houston, Stephon Mardbury, and the list goes on and on. Once a player (that is great) goes on that team they suck for some reason.

I've heard a lot of question marks about his desire and work ethic.... The fact that he's lazy and doesn't want to get better..... there's probably no way Smitch would give him a free pass, he'd be yelling and in his face every day... Its highly unlikely things would work out here..
But Eddy is still young, its not like he's a lost cause.. If he can get out of New York and buyout that contract, lose a couple of pounds, and show teams that he's changed his attitude there would be a lot of interest... Its possible he'll shine in the right system with the right coach and team that'll push him... Probably a Western conference team where he can play in the shadows of better players....New York is just too pressure packed and being with those other selfish players is not doing him any good... Plus he's expected to play like a franchise player and live up to his huge contract when he's clearly not one...

Rebounding, interior defense, toughness, plus he's incredibly healthy. Anyone seen that contract, bargain. I'd definitely do a Bargnani for Eddy Curry deal, add in whatever fillers you want. Hell, I'd throw in a couple picks if need be.
Get it done BC!
you forgot the green font buddy...haha interior defense

The only way Eddy Curry is ever going to look even half decent is playing next to a low usage defensive dynamo type guy - a Ben Wallace type. Other than that the boys a liability, and he'd be a liability in Toronto.
A couple of guys have mentioned that they'd trade for him if Zeke bit on a lowball offer. At that point maybe it's not the worst thing the franchise has ever done, but I bet it would be right up there. I don't see this leopard changing it's spots just based on a change of scenery. And with about 30M left over three years his contract is a hell of an albatross.
The Eddy Curry Line exists for a reason people.

now that i think about it, i'd rather we just sign Kwame Brown in the off-season for cheap to a 1 or 2 year deal and let him play for a contract.
He'd look like a defensive stud next to Bargnani and Bosh....plus, if he pans out, we can sign him to a longer term deal after Rasho expires, or we can package him with one of our many wings for a better player at another position.
