OT-NCAA Big Monday on Raps TV

Post#1 » by rapsdotcom » Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:25 pm

For those with Raptors NBA TV, tonight will be a great chance to catch some high quality NCAA action, including a few very highly regarded prospects. The triple-header begins at 7 p.m. Eastern.
GAME 1- Syracuse VS. Louisville
This Big East matchup includes top flight freshman prospect Donte Greene, a 6-10 SF of Syracuse, who is currently averaging around 18 and 7. For the Cardinals, look for versatile forwards Earl Clark and Terrence Williams to do the bulk of the damage, with big man David Padgett holding it down at the 5 spot.
GAME 2- Texas A&M VS. Texas
Always a classic matchup, this edition of the longstanding rivalry will feature freshman phenom C Deandre Jordan of A&M. For the Longhorns, pg DJ Augustin is the catalyst, with a little help from bruising SF Damion James.
GAME 3- Gonzaga VS. San Diego
The 'Zags don't have the same dominant teams of the past few years, but freshman SF Austin Daye is worth the price of admission. Also, Gonzaga features some Canadian content in C Rob Sacre

He's been nothing short of awful this year. I saw him play in two games and he looked totally out of place. he has the body and athleticism but I cant imagine a team using a top 10 pick on this guy at this point.

College basketball is brutal to watch. 25 passes around the perimeter and then shoot the 3.
