I dunno, is there solid proof that the rumor threads are fake though.. just because there is no solid proof that the rumors are out of a legit source doesn't exactly mean it is a lie either... Bargnani + Parker for Okafor? Who knows, there have been crazier trades that have already taken place this year. Just my 2 cents...

With Platinum's thread, he gave two sources, and both turned out to be false...hoopsworld said no such thing, and neither did ESPN (he later stated that it was in Chad Ford's rundown, which it wasn't).

The Okafor trade cited a Charlotte-area radio station...but no one on the Charlotte board, nor any media source has reported on it. That was over six hours ago; I like the trade, and would be happy if it was a genuine rumour, but the attempt to lead posters by citing an impossible-to-confirm source (and the odd fact that a Canadian poster was listening to a radio station in North Carolina) were grounds to assume that there was no substance to it.
