It was a staggered screen for Green, then a pindown for Kawhi. Lowry made a good read, but he also had Kawhi wide open coming off the pindown if needed because of the attention drawn by Green. It obviously was a multi-pronged set.

Ugh. Who else is the option then? Ibaka never turns around until it’s passed, nor does Leonard who doesnt even come to the ball and is behind Ibaka’s man. FVV turns his back and runs to the opposite corner. They’re going to reach a five count if he doesn’t pass it so there’s nothing else coming much after that screen.

What the ****? Lowry could barely score 10 nowadays.. hes going to make Kawhi leave with these consistent ass offensive games.. we need to make a trade BADLY for a 2nd option man. Give me Beal. Hes consistently a 22+ scorer and doesnt have stretches of 5+ games where he shoots 28% averaging 10 ppg like Lowry does.

But I don't think the Wizards trade anybody because I know for a fact they're going to turn it around and go on a hot streak for the rest of the season mark my words . I always right

Everyone keeps talking about Kawhi and Lowry but are forgetting about 1 main guy that should be dominating this season that has been mediocre which is JV. He need to demand the frigging ball and go at the basket with force, Also he need to shoot this frigging 3s with confident and stop pump faking for a turnover :banghead:

looks like Ibaka and Kawhi were a bit confused about that play...Magic also were confused..and they just all ran to Green when they saw he got the ball

If Green got the ball a bit earlier, he would have been wide open.

I'm one of the biggest Brown haters, but he hit a couple of 3's and was one of our better defenders all night long, no issue with him getting extended minutes tonight with FVV/Delon struggling and so many wing players injured.

I still don't believe in Brown's offensive abilities at this level, but if he can defend like this and hit some open 3's, then he can play some minutes during the regular season when the other guards are struggling.

To the people who are saying Green was the only option, please watch the replay again. As Lowry was making the pass to Green, Kawhi was freeing himself and he was wide open for an 18-20 footer from straight on. Also, FVV was open in the corner after the inbound; Green could have fired a pass and then FVV would have had time to get a quick shot off. There were a few options - not just Green.

Props to nurse for not riding and dying on that last play - would have been easy to go with the coach-safe play and dump it to one of your two struggling all-stars, Casey style. Kawhi was terribad tonight.

We need to go inside when the 3 isn't falling and get a little mojo. You could just see the confidence shift when we missed 7-8 threes in a row and the other team drains their first triple.

Out by 30.. This was almost Detroit all over again. There is a big misconception that playing in games like this prepares you for the playoffs lol come on man How many games like this did we play in the demar era ? Yet how many times did he get swept in the playoffs ? Stop trying flip a clear weakness into a positive.

No thanks. I've watched it enough. Also others, including analysts and Green, talk about multiple options. It's all good.

Fred was literally wide open in the corner....... Kawhi was wide open at the top....... the only stretch is giving it to ibaka but even he was relatively open

OG injured in the game against Celtics. he got turned around in the air and injured his wrist bracing his fall

Of course they will turn it around a little. Part of staying on that treadmill is barely making the playoffs and then flaming out spectacularly.
