He reminds me of a young Shawn Kemp. Guys his size shouldn't be able to move around like that.

said it when the schedule came out..opener shouldve been against either the clips/sixers/bucks

opening night will be about raising the banner and ring ceremony, there is no need for any big match ups to overshadow that. From team/marketing standpoint Clips/Sixers/Bucks will be always big games in the middle of the season...no reason to have them on opening nigh.

I do get it with the clips. No need to have the Kawhi return overshadow ring night, but I don’t see the issue with sixers or bucks. Would’ve been a good first game to face one of them.

ya people call Oden a bust, but he is a What if athlete. Busts imo are guys who were top prospects coming out of high school/college, but they could not take their game to another level in the league. Greg Oden was showing huge strides of success when he got injured.

Let’s all get used to it. It’ll be one of many injuries. His career epitaph will read “what could’ve been”

I cant believe I never see the pelicans franchise player. I've never seen Anthony David in person and now I probably won't see Zion. Damn franchise is cursed

He reminds me a lot of Kemp with his movements. Especially getting his own rebounds. But could you imagine if Kemp had Zion's crossover dribble? He'd be a different player entirely.

He needs to get at 210lbs or even less.

Hes too fat. Straight up. He has weight issues and it's all good a lot of people do including myself at times.

But he needs to trim the weight for his career. The less amount of weight he has the better for his health. Also maybe change his game up a bit too, with more skill based maneuvers.

285lbs and dunking like that? This was bound to happen.

Very simiar to nba player offseason workout videos, zion puts on an extra 10-15 pounds whenver he gets hurt.

Body is not supposed to handle that kind of weight moving at that kind of speed without repercussions. He need to lose some musclemass or else his knee will buckle and that will be it for his career.

Ideal weight for him is about 240-250 lbs or so, 285+ lbs is really putting a lot stress on his knees and ankles. His trainers and team officials needs to re evaluate whether Zion can play over 30 minutes a game at 70 + games per year at that weight. They are risking his career and health if they don't find the right balance on his playing weight.

Some of you are too cold...

It's almost like you want him to fail.

Let his career play out before you declare him injury prone.

I still don't get why people don't mention Larry Johnson more often when Zion Williamson comparisons come up. He himself was an amazing physical specimen who was undersized PF but built like brickhouse and was doing amazing things until injury got to him. Not that Zion will face similar issues but that there's similarities that people don't give more thoughts to.

I'd say even less then that, 210 is extreme but maybe 230, 220.

I'd imagine his explosiveness would be improved by a lot as well. If he's jumping the way he is with the weight he has on, imagine him at 230.

Holly shiiieeet.
