That goes without saying;
I don't think we will ever see a talent like him again in our lifetime,

I bring a camera to every home game so that I can show my grandkids proof that I was there, and I saw Andrea Bargnani play live.

You honestly think you can capture the wonder of Il Mago with a measly camera?

It took most of the 2006/07 season to adjust the shutter speed enough to even capture that sort of effortless speed, prior it had just been a photo of a blur followed by Herbie calling out his name.

I suspect that's why he doesn't get enough credit for his rebounds, he foot-speed is just so impressive we just don't see him hauling down boards, and I would imagine we miss almost half his offense as a result.

Jay needs to sit him down and tell him to take it easy, slow down the pace a bit, and allow his teammates to do the rebounding.

I can only dream of the strides Motiejunas would make tutoring under Bargnani.

I suspect it may be a point of contention with the CBA, as the 29 other owners will not sign unless the league does something about the double headed hydra in Toronto.

I mean whats the point of playing when you already know the outcome?

Yeah, I expect Toronto to be the next Miami Heat once Donatas joins. Everyone will hate us having basically the reincarnation of the 90's Bulls/60's Celtics. You just can't guard big men that shoot 3's, it's too complicated.

The difference is the Heat lost games this season;
The 2010/11 Heat are what Donatas Motiejunas is to Andrea Bargnani's 2011/12 Toronto Raptors.

Good, but not really comparable.

If we could get Vesley at the three :droop:

How do you even draw up a game plan to stop that?

When was the last time we just saw a forfeit in the NBA?
We may see a few next season, it may be better to just give your team the night off then having to deal with that front-court and being demoralized for months.

LeBron would need months of therapy;

"They were so fast...they were so tall, they just kept shooting threes....it was 9 - 0 when the anthem was being sung.... :waaa: "

Lebron's big head would explode trying to figure out what to do. Plus he would be shut down, because we all know Bargs man to man defence is amazing.

Its not just Bargs;

Bargs, Vesley, and Montiejunas on their own are impressive defensively,

They are like the Constructicons, alone they are a force to be reckoned with,

However,
Put them together they are like Devastator; unstoppable.

Do it Colangelo. Draft any of Donatas, Vesely or Jonas V for the 5th pick.

Think of the potential matchups with this lineup.

Ajinca - Bargs - Donatas - Kleiza - Jose.

Ajinca : Prime Camby with range and the fluidity of Matt Bonner
Bargs: A more athletic Dirk Nowitzki
Donatas: A more athletic Andrea Bargnani
Kleiza: A slightly shorter Dirk Nowitzki
Jose: Steve Nash that speaks spanish

Every game will go to Overtime. NO! Raptors Win!

I think you have Kleiza wrong. He's more like a Kobe-Jordan hybrid.

If Bryan Colangelo wanted to single handedly crush RealGM into the ground, he would draft Donatas.

Do it Colangelo. RealGM dares ya!

Bryan's contract should be revoked, or the very least, he should be fired if he doesn't draft Donatas. Make the obvious pick for once.

I respectfully disagree;

Bargs is a rich mans Nowitzki, its not just about Athleticism its about lifestyle.

Kleiza is more the Lithuanian LeBron James, however the James comparison sells him short. He is like a cross between James, Jordan, and Kobe if they were all juicing like Mark McGwire during the home run chase, and even then...we are selling Linus a little short.

Jose is like Nash combine with Stockton and a little bit of Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and the style of a Spanish Magic Johnson. He is truly magia blanca.

“Over the past few months Bryan has worked on a winning plan for the Raptors,” said Richard Peddie, President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. “Today I’m happy to report that he has everyone’s 100 per cent support of his plan and we look forward to seeing its success on the court.”

Soon after the signing, Peddie revealed the documented winning plan.

Draft him:

And win a ring with him:

After close review, the board was in full agreement, this plan is a winning plan.

Its like when you come across a deer drinking from a lake;
You don't want to scare it away with the flash of your camera and ruin that moment.

You want to sit back and enjoying that rare moment the majority of the world will never experience.
