I would love to know what the issues are. It is strange to have three high-profile players all not qualify in the same year. He has been in the US for a few years too which is different from Thomas and Anderson.

i would assume its his reclassifying as a 2011 class member. Birch did it, but he did it earlier. i think bhullar just waited too long, and transferring probably didnt help. and i suppose whatever "clearing house issues" are.

anderson and thomas probably just wasted their opportunity by not studying in the slightest

I know there is a sliding scale requirement based on your grades for your SAT score. Not sure how that works if your a Canadian.

Maybe Bullar, by trying to get in a year earlier, lacked the necessary credits and could not get an exemption.

What do you mean "transferring?' Are you talking about high school?

kris joseph 19 and 4, shooting 8-15 and 2-4 from 3. good lord.

we should have a weekly poll for canadian of the week, and the debut might be a tough contest between pangos' big game, joseph's big games, and nicholsons big game. not to mention mitrovich, heslpi, sacre and ty nurse's debut

Ah, okay gotcha. Yeah, that was weird, I thought that the main reason that he decommitted from Xavier and signed with NMSU is because Xavier wanted him to redshirt and the Aggies were gonna let him play as a freshman; oh well. This season will give him time to get rid of the baby fat.

western carolinas boxscore isnt out yet so i dont know how mutumbo did but this is one of the weirder stat lines from laurent rivard;

a 73-64 win, plays 25 minutes starting at the point and goes 2 points (1-2, 0-1), 0-0 ft, 2 assists, 0 rebounds, 0 turnovers, 0 blocks, 1 steal. just odd.

I didn't know Harouna Mutombo was Dikembe's nephew. I thought the name was a coincidence.

Pretty cool.
