i wouldnt give up DeMar for Iggy. if is has to be iggy, then jose plus ed and 8th for iggy and 15 is the max i would do. would rather have Gay

any idea dollar-wise how much that saves the Raptors if they pick 15 vs 8?

i was thinking that yesterday....if it makes more sense than ever for teams to trade down 3-5 spots to save cap room. the difference between 1 and 5 is around $1 mil/year, is it not?

So let's say Memphis wants Waiters and called the Raptors, to pick him 8th and they will get Rudy Gay...

1) Let's say another team like Waiters and he gone by the 8th pick, what do you do?
2) There is a player the Raptors really love, and he dropped to the 8th spot. Do you trade the pick then?

Not to mention the draft is still 3 weeks away.

Hmmm if we did promise him at #8, that means Waiters cancelled all upcoming workouts, because he actually wants to be picked by the Raptors... That is of course we did promise him.

I hope it's us, I love this guy's game and attitude on the floor. One of those guys you want on your team and hate to play against. We have NONE of those guys as of right now.

Coming off the bench for us in that attack mode playing against the other team's bench could bold out well. As well, I don't see Demar being traded if we draft him - too early to give up on Demar as of yet even with all his weaknesses.

Watch us not even be involved in all of this. Instead of the Raps, it's GSW that gave him a promise while making a trade for Iggy.

Any chance that Philly have listened to the offers around the league for Iggy, including ours and decided they'll keep him and look to get a better fit at the 2 guard spot and are very high on the hometown kid Dion Waiters. Would Philly come back to BC with an idea like 15 + Turner for 8? I'm not saying whether that's a good deal or not but we need additional guard talent badly and while not a monumental leap forward I do think he has more upside than DeRozan.

That will almost certainly not fly with us.

Would Nash have a preference over Waiters or DeRozan?

Im guessing the team would sell him on the fact if DeRozan blew up next year they couldn't
afford him and prefer Waiters on a rookie contract for the next 4 years.
