He decided to spend the MLE on Jason Kapono to be our future SF but he got benched for Jamario Moon 6 games into the season. We went from Atlantic Division Champs to 6th seed that season (wasn't even a winning season as we had a .500 record). Then the Bosh thing happened and that was when he should've been fired.
THe bosh situation was a bummer. He was playing at an elite level, and Bosh gave absolutely no indication of leaving, so ofcourse BC was gonna try to retain him, and at the time none of you really faulted him for that. Now your all over his nuts.
Despite BCs mistakes, I would take BC over an MLSE chosen gm next yr and beyond!! Its evident most of you would prefer the latter. I dread and am more scared of MLSE than BC. Not extending BC would be a huge mistake.
