Thats what I thinking. Gecevicius should be on the team, he is a good fit. People are down on him because he was riding the bench for the last 2 years, but he is not bad. Has some experience playing point and is the best 3 point shooter available. Looks like they gonna be inside scoring team, they gonna need spot up shooters, and they desperately need anyone who can fill the PG minutes. Not saying he will be their back up PG, but he might fill few minutes here and there.
Where did you get that idea of Gecevicius being able to handle the ball? That is ridiculous. He can't dribbble at all, even Seibutis is better at it than him. Gecevicius is a spot-up shooter, that's it. He can't cut, he can't dribbble, he can't get to the rim, and he sure as hell can't back-up someone at PG. I won't even mention his defense. That is nonsense. I would even be more comfortable with Kleiza playing PG instead of Gecevicius...
I don't really have anything against the guy, I believe he can shoot very well, perhaps even the best 3pt threat in this particular roster, but he should be cut first. Even if you let him stay, he wouldn't get any playing time during the tournament. I'd be way more comfortable leaving Delininkaitis on the roster. He's a good 3pt shooter as well, but can also legitimately play PG at limited times.
The guys that will be cut in my opinion:
Gecevicius
Cizauskas or Juskevicius (more likely) depending on their performance
Either one of Lavrinovic brothers
