I respect that these guys are having kids, and trying to have a life outside of basketball, but from what I hear, it's not like these some guys aren't enjoying the party life in TO. I don't get this mentality that you have to have kid to mature or that it magically matures you. I know lots of guys with kids and....yeah...they most definitely aren't any better than they were in their early teens.

Now, every situation is different, but...at the same time I just don't see the rush. But, in this case, it doesn't really seem like this was a long-term girlfriend/wife type deal. I just don't hope this turns around to bite Ross in the butt.

Exactly. I just don't get why some of these athletes put themselves in these situations. Take the George Clooney or Leonardo DiCaprio approach to life. Be rich, enjoy it as long as you can, and then...maybe later in life, settle down. Money isn't everything, but some of these women that throw themselves at the rich and famous...aren't the best wife material.

Yea clooney has mostly dated sucessful woman, thats what most athletes should strive for. But the thing that most people do not experience that athletes do, is the constant temptation. The hoes of the world will quickly figure out who has the money and who doesn't, and they will be relentless. It takes some cajones to be able to refuse woman constantly throwing themselves at you.
