If you listen to the Grantland NFL podcast, Bill barnwell once went on a tirade about this cliche, I wish I could remember it verbatim but basically its the most over used cliche. Its an important game for fans, because its 2 really good teams in the East.

That aside, I think its going to fun game, and much like you I dont know whats going to happen. I could see the gamut of possibilities from blowouts on either side, to a tight game. Goodluck man and yea we have the best GTs on the internets, thanks to Bruno/Leafs/UDR/etc.., except during the game when everything is negative, and each play in isolation becomes about the worst play/player/coach/etc..

I hate betting against the Raps, but like others I saw the line and put a few bucks on it.

It is encouraging they beat a Philly team that played one of their best games of the season. It forced us to execute and hopefully it can translate to tonight.

It's so much more than just a mantra though. In other words, even if we tried to emulate the Hawks we wouldn't be as successful because of personnel differences. They have some things we don't. Namely, two bigs that can pass and handle (and another 2 bigs off the bench who can shoot 3s), and one of the greatest shooters of all time on the wing. It's a fun brand of basketball, and a successful one, but one we're not suited for at the moment imo. Besides, our "iso" style's not too bad either - still tops in the league with a 115 OFF efficiency.
