Not to sound like a dick, but that logo looks like it was done in Paint. Kind of a jab at the people with years of experience in Illustrator/Photoshop.

he is obviously talking about style wise and not photoshop wise. Use your brain. The winning one is the same with just the white L on the right, which makes no sense. If you look at it from a glance it looks like 7 L in white. I don't know what thats supposed to be.

They don't look the same though? Other than the backwards 7 to start it off.

When you only have "K" "L" and "7" to work with I'm surprised more didn't look the same.

Color scheme shouldn't matter considering that takes 2 seconds to change in Illustrator. Anyways if that guy won, how exactly would he submit a design in vector if his is done in paint?

Haha it's all good man, you never know how these things go. I'm honestly happy that he just made A selection, the contest finished over 30 days ago. I promised myself that I would remove my work from the competition if he didn't make a selection this week so I'm glad I didn't have to go through w that.

I did it out of love not for sake of the competition. Happy for any Raps fan that wins

Not going to get in to the whole 'if he stole the idea' debate.

The winner has the 7 clearly identified followed by the transition to K in between and finally an L.

RedX, yours has the 7 first but then the K and the L seems to come before the K the way you read it. The winning one clearly flows better from 7 to KL, at least IMO. But that's also why people have different preferences.

I agree with you and Bruno, this is a great logo (by RedX, personally, I prefer your second logo 7K, but also the first is fantastic), way better than the winner....
