DD trying to get himself pumped-up. but that's Pierce, a drama queen, he might use that to his advantage by getting to his head some more. i say players should just shut-up and play ball.

Sorry Vin, we agree on a lot, but I can't agree with you on this.

Vince was great in Toronto, and he was even better in NJ. Injuries robbed him and us basketball fans. Paul Pierce has never been the truth, but a fraud fed to us because he came up in Boston.

Injuries may have made him a lesser player, but his drive and willingness to win is what robbed basketball fans.

VC is a bum, that never had the will to win on his own.

Yep seriously. James Johnson should be on the court every time Pierce is. If he can't stop him after being anointed our defensive stopper since last summer when he was signed then we may as well cut ties with him after this year.

I like Pierce, but Vince in his good years was good in the way Curry and Harden are now. Paul Pierce was always good in the way Paul George or Kevin love is good

PP has had a better overall career and better playoff performances. VC was good in his peak years, especially 2000-2001 (he was more well rounded in NJ but by then LeBron, Kobe, Melo, Arenas McGrady were all head and shoulders better). VC had ONE monster playoff series vs Philly. That's it. PP meanwhile has had countless epic playoff performances and hit countless big playoff shots leading his team to countless playoff series wins. VC's best playoff runs were as a second banana in NJ (Kidd was still the man) and 3rd-4th option in Orlando.

VC had the hype and the dunk contest and the 50 win performance vs Philly. But PP's overall career and playoff performances were far better.

Agreed. Just talking peaks as players. Pierce was never a superstar IMO. Solid all star who lucked into a great team. Vince (for about 2 years) was a superstar.
