Patterson was late hedging leaving space for Harden to split the screen and the reason why Dwight got all those lobs because JV had to step up to stop penetration and there was no rotation behind to drop down and put a body on Dwight.

The guard play on switches and running through screens has been really poor lately.

Demar and his cancerous play needs to gtfo. Dudes a freaking pylon and his offense would be hot garbage without Lowry demanding so much attention.

No matter what Raptors team we have, I always wait until the game is over before I can breath a sigh of relief..

whats more concerning is we're giving up a lot of points to the opposing teams superstars as of late

No point to get too worked up over this loss. Let's not act like the Rockets are a bottom feeder team. They have a top 5 offensive player, a very good center and some good 3 point shooters that got hot.

Lowry needs to find a way to take more than 9 shots though

This loss was on Casey for not going with the same group that got them the lead in the first place.

Demar does deserve blame for that bone-headed and selfish flagrant foul on Beverley. The previous play that he was whining about getting a no-call on, he was fully under the basket and had no angle. He just turns into a very bad decision maker in late game down to the wire situations.

It's not the loss that bothers me, it's the way we lost.

Blowing a comfortable 18 point lead, failing to adjust to their lineups, Demar losing his composure down the stretch, not playing Scola when he was having a great night... Lots of mental mistakes tonight.

It has mostly been scheme that has been killing their defense more so than any single individual.

Scola's first good game in months, benched. JJ playing Harden tough, benched. 10+ point lead? Bench DeMar for 7 minutes to start the 4th. Thanks, coach.

Seems like Derozan is the only player on the Raptor where the ball just sticks with him and he dirbbles like a hundred times and all our players just stand there like morons..we know he's not gonna get it in and he's usually on the floor like he's shot dead...

Rockets are a lot better than their record, and we played horrible. We have to move on.

Our next game is against the Nets on Tuesday, good game to come out and bounce back.

The game was blown in the third quarter when DD was playing with the second unit instead of Kyle. Defensively that was very weak and the ball just stuck too much with Demar on offense. Joseph wasn't able to get involved as the primary ball handler like he does and we went deep into the clock way too often hoping to be bailed out with calls on scramble plays. There wasn't proper usage of our players today. It's like we were highlighting Demar vs Harden--and that's a match up I think we lose more often than not. Too many blown coverages of shooters.

Patterson and ross are the same kind of players, they disappear for 85% of the game and their supposed to be our main guys off the bench

Its insane how many open 3s teams get against us, sometimes all it takes is 1 pass or even less, just apick

This. This team lacks the mental toughness to lock down games. With the Rockets playing a back to back and an 18 pt lead. Should have won this game. No excuses.

Late on rotations.. open 3's.. pretty crappy performance in that 2nd half of the game. We deserved the loss the way we played. :banghead:
