See us getting swept or losing in 5. Their teams size really disrupts us.

This. There is a better chance of us being swept than there is of us winning this series tbh.

I get people are upset about the loss, we all are, but seriously?

Hope you aren't suprised with Lowry being a non factor. It seems people forget the choke artist that he truly is in the playoffs throughout the regular season. Sure, he's good in the regular season and gets the teams wins, but who cares since the team blows home court advantage in the playoffs anyways. How do you get outperformed by Brogdon and Dellavedova? He should seriously consider seeking help from a sport psychologist because he shrinks when it matters

"regular season" player...

He's also 31 years old...

A Max contract "could" cripple the franchise going forward...

As fans we don't know what else is out there but the team seriously needs to look at all possible options

Don't pay a player based on past accomplishments. Pay them on what they are right now

I know. I feel a lot less confident we even win game 2 and if we don't then we're getting swept. With all due respect to Paul George, the Greek freak is on another level and he wasn't even at his best today.

I don't expect Lowry to get the super max, I fully expect him to sign a deal similar or slightly above Demar's. Either way if we plan on keeping Ibaka and Tucker roster changes are inevitable. Might as well retain our star point guard.

As for him being a regular season player. He has scored multiple 30 point games in the playoffs. WhileVAL was crucial for us vs the Pacers, I would argue Lowry was the main reason we won vs Miami.

I miss typed, VAL was crucial in the pacers series but Lowry was in the heat series.

How exactly do we bounce back?

Clearly homecourt doesn't mean chit for us.

Lowry is 31 and has been underpaid for most of his career... He's gonna want to get PAID this is gonna be his last big
contract and he knows it.

I would argue Lowry almost cost us the Pacers series and Val saved us. I would also argue Biyombo was the difference
against the Heat.

I believe Lowry had the worst FG% in NBA playoff history at one point last year I'm not sure if that still stands but after
tonight he's probably near the bottom. Also his defense is a major concern at times.

His historically poor playoffs was a National story last year. Barkley and Shaq called him out all playoffs...

There was the famous shot of him shooting in the ACC at midnight...

And he got flamed for the Decompressing comment against the Cavs...

He did have a couple of big games notably game 7 against the Heat but he keeps on reverting to a player
that desperatley needs a sports psychologist.

We don't want Lowry to become our Jose Bautista. At least the Jays only have him for 1 year.

That's why I don't understand what some people are worried about. We played our most effective and balanced basketball with Lowry on the shelf. Lowry had a good run here but he was overrated by many here. Whatever he brings his offence is mitigated by his horrible defending. For the most part he has been one of the worst defending PGs in the league but people had their head in the sand about it because they were in love with his offence.

This team is better off without him because now his terrible defence is starting to overshadow his offensive skills.

Why are you Mad?

Post#117 » by joshgc » Sun Apr 16, 2017 1:17 am

Seriously, we always lose game 1. Most of us predicted raps in 5 or 6. We were bound to lose one game, we are not going to lose to the bucks. Everyone needs to stop panicing, go get a drink and relax we are taking it in 6. The season isn't over, it is one game. Kyle was ****, he isn't going to score 4 points next game, he is just too good. Believe in your team!

Why are you surprised tho, we always lose game 1. It is quite comical we lose the first game. It is just raptor things.

Anyways, go have a drink. Enjoy the playoffs, we are usually never here. Raps in 6 believe!

I misstyped about Lowry and the pacers. Meant to say Val. sorry.

I thought this was a different raptors team. That game 1 curse nonsense is stupid. We have the most talented. We didn't even play at 12:30.just garbage destroyed by a bunch of rookies and kids
