i completely disagree, i think coaching has a lot to do with guidance on when to switch and then instill confidence in them to communicate on defense. If stevens was our coach, you would likely see our players communicating a lot more. One knock on the raptors, is that our two worst IQ players happen to be in the starting lineup, that's ibaka and derozan.

these players have been playing basketball majority of their lives. If they need a coach to come in and tell them "communication is good" then they are more hopeless than you think.

Firing Casey is a good first step. Now address the DeMar issue by explicitly calling him out and improve his mental or trade him. There shouldn't be any safe zones for anyone.

Celtics have a top 2-3 coach in Brad Stevens but at least their players have a winner's mentality and are not scared of a depleted Cavs team. We are an embarrassment to this league after what just happened. Now move on, make the right moves, and stop the treadmill asap.

Celtics overachieved during the RS without Hayward then overachieved in the post-season without Kyrie.

It's quite sad that the Raptors have never over-achieved in the playoffs. The best accomplishment was taking the Cavs to 6 in the ECF but even that was pretty flawed given the lack of talent on Indiana and Miami.

I disagree with some of this. You can be a high-character and NICE married man who still has the confidence of a lion. It's not about whether they are nice or not, it's about being assertive on the court. LeBron James is a married man with children and probably donates to charity, but he's an animal on the court.. Even Al Horford is the nicest guy in interviews, quiet as hell, but is he scared of Lebron? Nope. These guys on our team are nice which is cool, but they don't have the mindset OR the confidence... And OG might seem like a nice dude and he probably is, but he looks tough out there, and doesn't shy away from any bull ****. He showed so much confidence out there guarding Lebron and hitting 3's. He was probably the only bright spot I took away from this series loss. He's already the toughest guy on our team and he's a 20 year old rookie.

I'm so disappointed watching Boston go up 2-0. We should have beat the cavs and as well as the celtics and been in the finals. Unlike a lot of you who think we overachieved and don't have the talent, I strongly disagree and actually think we massively underachieved this post season. We have the talent, unfortunate Freddie got hurt and Delon should have got more playing time. In the end bad defense and horrendous rotations cost us the cavs series. Boston is proving the scrub team the cavs are. We pissed away game 1, demar lost his confidence and our rightful chance to get into the finals. Boston actually did us a favour as the only team that should have beat us was Philly and Boston took them out.

You ask any raps player and they will tell you they would have beat the celtics and I believe they would have unless the refs pulled some serious **** which they tend to do. I'm still so angry that we lost to the damn cavs.
