I'm so happy for Kyle. My guy averaged 19.2/5.5/5.2 on 51/47/84 shooting splits in the ECFs. Playoff choker my ass.
against GEORGE HILL! We/Kyle exorcised another Demon there with that KyleVSGeorgeHIll matchup...
.in the history of the NBA, all great teams/great players have had to go through major challenges/great teams to get to the NBA Finals.
Milwaukee is no exception, now! Giannis has lost against us twice in 3 years.
Kyle (again) exorcised other demons against Washington last year.
As fans we exorcised the Philly'01-Demons-to-Milwaukee ...to now NBA Finals
exorcising those demons have always been part of the process of winning a championship in the NBA...GOAT-MJ beating the Pistons.
We do have one left! LeKing. Depending on Kawhi's decision, we might just be starting with GSW
That dude ain't sniffing the finals any time soon if he stays on the Lakers with that FO.
I truly believe we would have dusted the Cavs with this team. Kawhi on Bron single coverage with everyone else running their shooters off the 3-point line. They don't play any defence so Kawhi would get easy buckets all game. There's also no rim protection so Siakam can get to the rim with ease.

The hatred and envy I’m seeing against the Raptors is rather ridiculous. From the RealGM general board, to youtube comments, to social media posts — everything is about how we should enjoy getting swept by the Warriors and how we stand no chance. Where did these haters come from? It’s like people don’t even realize how ecstatic we are to even be in this moment, that just getting to the Finals is a huge achievement, and also the fact that we have been underestimated and overlooked in the Sixers and Bucks series. I can’t believe I’m still seeing many people wishing the Bucks had made it because they would put up a better fight.
We have never been in this position before so it’s really jarring. After all those Craptor years we are so good we’re getting mass hate.

Re: Finals: Game 1 - The Evil Empire @ Carnivores, 9PM
I remember watching game five of the Bucks series and thinking "This is great basketball."
I realized that the game 5 win was important, not because it put the Raptors in the driver's seat when it came to advancing, but because a win meant a minimum of two more games of great Raptor's basketball.
Now I have a wealth of riches, because we have at least four more games of Raptors basketball before the season is over.
Oh, and Raps in 7

This is the best defensive team we've ever had. This is our best shot at beating them. We should be happy. Also all these American Raptor haters talking about Cousins and Durant coming back. I DARE Kerr to play Cousins vs us. He's such a defensive liability.

dont be so sure you know

But I agree with you, this team would have beaten the Cavs of last year 100% in 5 games!!!

We always thought winning would change everything. Clearly it doesn't. Haters gonna hate.

It comes with the territory of being the best in the world. Every single team that has made the finals has been disrespected and slandered hard by online trolls. I think the only team that hasn't was the 2011 Mavericks, because it was such a feel good story, and at the time everyone HATED the Heat so much.

It’ll be trippy seeing this patch on a Raps jersey for the first time
I wonder if they’ll make any modifications to the court

With success comes haters, it means you're doing something right. I also have seen a ton of Warriors in 4 comments, but I just laugh it off knowing that there is a very low chance that happens...then they'll just move on to Warriors in 5...Warriors in 6, and so on....then if Raptors win the whole thing they'll just say "Kawhi is leaving anyways"....at the end of the day these people are just jealous and want to make Raptors fans feel bad.

They normally have "The Finals" Sticker on both sides of the Court as well.

dont be so sure you knowI am no 'Bron superfans but prior to his injury the Lakers were right there. Just add a Free Agent there like a Jimmy Butler plus a trade..while KD leaving GSW..then all of sudden LeBron could be back at the top in a hurry.
But I agree with you, this team would have beaten the Cavs of last year 100% in 5 games!!!
No ones joining the Lakers to be LeBron's sidekick. If you win LeBron gets all the credit and when you lose the narrative is that LeBron had no help and his teammates are trash.
AD is the only one that's expressed interest in playing with him but, imo if he gets traded to another winning situation, he won't leave for 36-year old Bron.
