Probably an undrafted pickup like FVV.

Paschall is really good and underrated. He's not gonna be anyone crazy due to his limitations with height and his skillset but he can be very serviceable.

I want us to pick someone from my school (Poole or Brazdeikis) for selfish reasons, but Paschall is incredible.

Would be nice if we could get a 2 gaurd I think Nickeil Alexander Walker , Romeo Langford or Kevin Porter Jr could be steals in our player development program.

Don’t really have anything worth trading into the first I guess (maybe Ibaka if we tryna shed salary)

What are the chances of Masai finding a kid he likes that would go mid-lotto and buy a pick for him? Impossible?

I’m hoping he can get someone that’s like 3 years away from being 3 years away . An American pascal siakam perhaps

Quebec gaurd

Luguentz Dort could be interesting as well

He’s built like a tank and plays hard is also a good passer

I also think he’s pretty likely to fall to the second

Gotta rep the home city. Maybe he picks up Ottawa's own Shayok at pick 59.

In top 15 you might take BPA but second round I would draft for need. If you think there is a 6’3” PG that can play 12 mpg in NBA with D, 3 and can drive kick or pick and roll threat you take him or trade up in second with 59th and some cash.

Rui Hachimura is totally a masai kind of player. I could see him being really high on him as am I

Can we pin this for Thursday?

Any chance Masai will be active and possibly buy into the early second round or will he and Webster still be in a post-chip haze? We have the cash considerations available to buy a pick, and there's gonna be some interesting names that fall just out of the first round.

Given the team’s track record, there’s a zero percent chance of buying a pick.

I’d be surprised if the 59th wasn’t traded

Marial Shayok
Lagerald Vick

If im Masai, im looking to add a sharpshooting SG for depth. Since Green and Meeks are likely gone.

Teams really value draft picks now. I don't think a single pick was sold in last year's draft. It's going to be really tough acquiring a pick. I could see Serge/Norm being shopped to lower the tax and maybe we can land a nice pick.

I'm really high on Rui Hachimura and Kevin Porter Jr. I hope we get one of them.

I see people bringing up Paschall and Dortz. I approve of both guys. Dortz was a lil disappointing in the tourney which might drop him to our pick. He's got potential IMO. Paschall is also another sleeper pick.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

not really.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

It would probably be a good idea to trade for a future 2nd rounder in a better draft. There will not be roster space or development time for whoever is drafted so they will likely be stashed somewhere.
