Or at least closing time without a C, we probably get better spacing with it.
Raptors Republic also mentioned this to have Siakam work on the roll man, he can improve better with his positioning, so that the pass is easier for the handler.

Nurse needs everyone to go to Screening night school.

I think no one knows how to make a proper screen aside from Birch. The others just slightly put their shoulder into the defence and keep it moving. :banghead:

I feel like they should still try it though. I refuse to believe FVV/Pascal or FVV/Scottie can't make it work.

I don’t have the metrics but I heard it on Samson Folk’s podcast that Siakam Fred pick and rolls are the best by the numbers on our team but we don’t run them a lot for some reason.

Very strange.

Which theatre you suggest that Nicky should do the screening at?

None, make them go to the Cloverdale Mall and watch it on a projector.

He's not as good as a roll man so that might be why they don't run it. the numbers were really good with Pascal as the ballhandler in inverted pick and rolls in the last 2 seasons, but the volume wasn't as high.

Against smaller player or bigger player?
My sense is that he is good against smaller player, but settling more long range jump shot against bigger player, probably bigger players let him shoot and backing out against his drive. If this is the case, I personal feel there is no reason to play him at C.

As we get closer to this game at 10PM EST, my concern with Anfernee Simons going off gets greater and greater.

Have a horrible hunch that Larry Nance Jr. is going to be an absolute pain tonight.

Would be nice to see GTJ get his buckets in the second half, instead of getting the majority of them in the first half and firing blanks when it counts.

I think it looks bad when accredited media is making statements about how much a player plays or how it runs its defense. I think at one point Will was actually suggesting how to tweak a defensive scheme for Nick Nurse. Will Lou suggesting strategy goes a bit too far down the Twitter rabbit hole.

Pistons score 12 points in the 1st quarter against the Kings. They're lowest scoring quarter against us was 28. Maybe we don't have to run our gambling high pressure defensive scheme against every dogsh*t team.

I really like this kid. He finally got stronger and is primed for a breakout similar to Gary Trent Jr. He is a really fast player with the ball - he can pose similar issues to what Garland posed for Toronto.

I actually think this would be a good opportunity for Trent Jr. to lock the kid up and put him in his place.
