I predicted Gradey for 9 min/gm average.
He is at 13 min/gm now and that will drop drop drop. I do not think Gradey gets another NBA contract. Save your money from McDonald’s and the shaving sponsorship lol

lol, it’s always funny when people make statements like this. While he’s obviously not playing well, we have to remember he’s two months into his NBA career and just turned 20.

He might not be a bust, but he doesn't really have any other attributes. He's not quick of the dribble, can't really play make, rebound, play high level defense, get to the free throw line, so if his shot isn't going down he's quite useless.

His best case scenario is a Jason Kapono type player. There were players with high ceilings on the draft board, but Masai thought he kepit it safe, and not looking to good right now.

A big part of the problem is we’ve sucked at development for about 5 years now. Everyone Miami develops turns to gold. Other than Scottie, we haven’t hit on a draft pick or developed a player.

I don't know. He went to the G-league and came back showing us he can hit the rim 50% of the time on his 3 pt shot. That's got to count for something. Mind you, the air ball was on wide open three...Matty D said he'll be fine. How can he know this? Does he mean he'll be fine if he doesn't stick in the NBA. Probably would be.

Matt "100%" Thomas refused to take a shot unless he was wide open. And he was too small and/or too unskilled to actually get open on a consistent basis. We were hoping he could be a JJ Redick. But nah.

He was kinda cocky but nothing like falling on your face to fix that up. I'll give him the off-season to attempt to bulk up. I was a twig his age. We shall see.

If I am not mistaken on defense his timing is off, not only the athleticism. He’s often too close or too far. It makes it worse.
