Oro di Napoli on Lakeshore in Etobicoke is very, very good, though prices have gone up a fair bit.

Maker pizza nearly made me throw up. Waaay too salty.

I used to LOVE San Francesc big slices growing up in Kitchener and going to school downtown, but it shut down at some point and others haven't been the same.

For fast food chains, I tend to do Domino's with just the Brooklyn pepperoni and red onion. Also recently had Pizza Pizza with the cauliflower crust and was really surprised at how decent it was, considering their cardboard boxes usually taste better than the slices.

Yup its solid pizza and a short walk for me.

Pizza really goes well with those saucy wings. It's all about the flats. A lot of neighborhood mom and pop pizza shops get this right vs the bigger chains.

Then you can also use the left over wing sauce as the dipping sauce.

Pair it with a game or a movie - life is good. I'm saying this while having to work tomorrow ugh

That Italian Place in Brampton is pretty great. Thin crust wood fired oven or a NY style pizza oven. They make a nice espresso too.

Been meaning to try them, they are right down the street from me. Definitely will give them a try.

Another good one we tried over the summer is at Cottrelle/Humberwest Parkway called Mozza Pizzeria in that newer Esso plaza. Stone based oven. They have about 8 pre-sets but you can do an unlimited topping one. I had tried "The Quebec" which was great. Think we dealt with the actual owner that day.

If you like deep dish, The Hungry Dragon (formerly Mickeys Pizza) in Oakville is good.

Papa Johns

I have a very basic palette for pizza, I think Papa Johns tastes better than any artisanal pizza including the pizza I had in Italy

Fourth Man is really good.

Haven't tried Badiali's yet, but their lines wrap around the block everyday.

Also, NY pizza >>>> Italian pizza.

Big up to the best pizza in scarborough. Pizza on fire at kennedy/ellesmere. Just looking at the photos should pique anyone's interest. Don't be deterred by the crappy plaza it's in.

Fond childhood memories as well. Apparently Birchmount/Ellesmere brought it back? Monday to Friday 11:30am to 1:30pm, excluding holidays! $13.99 a person. (The last RFD update was in Oct 25 2023, so...maybe call ahead).

(disclaimer, I don't really eat meat):

I mostly get North of Brooklyn Pizza, but the 2-4-1 near me (Dufferin and Bloor) is surprisingly adequate so sometimes go cheaper there.

Tried a new place called Acute Pizzeria (that I guess uses sourdough) at Dundas and Lansdowne and found it pretty good, probably going to add it to the rotation as an in-between price option.

Descendants was really good when I had it, but far away. Maker I think is overrated. Bitondo's is fun and gooey when that's what you're craving.

Of the chains, I think Pizzaiolo is probably the best.

Pizza outside Italy is massively overrated

Found the pretentious foodie already.

Its not pretentious. Pizza in italy is on another level....largely because of fresh ingredients. We cant even get proper cheese around here at a reasonable cost due to ridiculously high cheese import taxes (something like 200% when I last looked it up unless you import by the truckload).

Toronto's pizza game has improved compared to what it was a decade ago. Of the places I've tried....I'm a fan of North of Brooklyn, Descendants and Pizzeria Delfina. I will never go to Baldiali's because I would never lineup for food like I'm homeless.

In the suburbs, Red Swan is surprisingly good/different.

You don't have to lineup at Badiali, just order ahead of time, you can skip the line and walk right in

I live in the neighbourhood and can never understand why people wait in that line, it's a good slice though
