Edey 20 and 14, +17. Not a great game tonight. But that's high expectations

27 and 14, 7-10 ft. That's a Yao line.

Ngl my guy is looking good in the tourney. Wonder how he will look against guys 6’10 and above.

He played Lively and Filipowski last year, fouled both of them out in an easy win. But they were freshmen.

I might even be tempted to grab him with the Pacers pick. Seems like a hardworking guy and clearly has talent.

I'd be fine at 6 tbh.

I'm probably going to get ripped for this but whatever.....

I just saw the sweet 16 post game interview, his mom left Toronto and followed him to West Lafayette?

Was that just for his freshman year?

If she stayed all 4 years then don't touch this kid with a 10 foot pole, we can pick him up for the minimum after his original team doesn't extend him.

I've seen this movie before

Don't draft him in the first round. No problem if we want to take a chance on him in the second round. If somebody else wants to draft him in the first round and give him that guaranteed contract let them

To be fair, that was 16 words. That’s a lot

Very clear that most in here did not see him play for Canada last summer. He will have a role on the National team, an important one for many games, but he is not a NBA player.

Huge game for Edey's stock today in a bit.

He definitely looks like a guy who will make a career for himself in the NBA. As a floor. I wouldn't be upset if they picked him with Pacers pick.

edit: Knecht is intriguing as well. Nice shot.

Looks like he would go in the lottery... hard to know how his game translates to in the NBA. Huge game today against Tennessee...

He’s a post up big in a league (thinking about the NBA) that doesn’t value that skill set anymore. Combined that with the fact that he’s not terrifying defensively, he’s looking a lot like a situational big man in the NBA. Now if he can develop a jump shot then we are having a much different conversation. If he can face up and make a jumper, or work a pick and pop into his game then he becomes dangerous since he has nice touch around the bucket.

Essentially, he’s a jumper away from having a long NBA career.

Not too many 7'4 300 lbs types in the NBA...
