The whole team looks him.off, even when he is open. He basically has to go get it if he wants to touch the ball.

It's going to be a long road.

The good news is that he is an aggressive rebounder & shot blocker. The guy has insanely long arms. Easily the longest player on the floor between the 2 teams. Looks to be keeping his constant fouling in check a little.more

No other Raps rooks playing tonight.

TJ Warren is playing for Westchester.

Maybe in two years he will be g league level talent... Def not nba. Raps have zero talent behind Yak... atm

Yup. Having Koloko would have been great.

Although, replacing Yak is going to be really tough. He has such high BBallIQ & embraces his role so well. He is elite at what he does..

I don't see Masai trading Yak. I see him being eventually extended... he's the starting C for the next 5 years, imo

Koloko isn't really doing much in LA right now anyway, is he?

Funny quote from a Sportsnet article:
If they needed a boost of energy, they had a G League record crowd of 19,257, most of them screaming school children, to power them on.

“Yes,” Shead said with emphasis, asked if the noise was noticeable on the court. “Those kids are extra loud and it was like, really screaming, it wasn't cheering, it was screaming. I think it kind of messed with everybody else, and it kind of fueled us a little bit. It was pretty fun.”

I agree.....they won't trade him.

I mean more so down the road (and when he is on the bench).

Yeah, the current part of the schedule is called the GLeague Tip off Tournament I believe.

November 8: NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament begins

December 19-22: 2024 NBA G League Winter Showcase

December 27: NBA G League 34-game Regular Season begins

I think the NBA will eventually go down a similar path (2 seasons). It will be interesting to see if the NBA adopts the 1 FT rule eventually as well.

Carton just gets injured too often. I think it might be time to cut ties and give the two-way spot to someone else like Disu if it is looking like he might be scooped up by another team.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Lol, TJ Warren is 31 years old. What is he doing in the G-League?

I guess he's just hoping for a chance to get back to the league, but he'd probably be better served signing a nice contract and making good money in Europe at this point.

The team looked a lot better with Shead running PG rather than Chandler. He had a great game. Looked composed. In control. Some fantastic passes & showed his quick 1st step on a few occasions, getting to the rim easily.

I still have high hopes for Shead..he is a player. I think reps down there will do him wonders.

Almost had this one. Battle decided to go cold in the half and the 905 forgot how to rebound. Frankly im surprised how little touches Chomche gets. Shouldnt they feed him every chance they get?

If a player in the G league doesn't play when he isn't 100%, get rid of them.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

He really knows how to run a team. Part of that is experience, but I think a good part is just innate. Too many point guards are actually combo guards playing point out of necessity. Shead is a real point guard, and also seems like a leader off the court.

He's got some stuff to work on, but I'm a fan and really hope he sticks around for many years.

100% Chandler is a black hole trying to crack an NBA team. Very much like Freeman-Liberty. At half I watched Battle hit like 25 3's in a row turn to Shead and say I can't miss and then couldn't make one in the second half. I was really hoping to see more from Boo he was one of my favourite college players last year . Added pic so you can see Boo from my view

SHEED LOOKING more and more like a bust.

He has no business playing on the main roster, and cetainly when IQ is back... In fact, he is struggling even at 905... others better than him, imo

He's an undersized PG who can't shoot.... he got totally torched by Jeff Dowtin Jr last game...

15/1/13/6 steals in the win today, looked good running the team (in a league that doesn't even count for another 3 weeks)
