I can see Maluach being Donovan Clingan that shoots FT's much better. That in itself should make him a top 10 pick.

1. Flagg
2. Harper
3. Tre
4. VJ
5. Fears
6. Kon
7. Bailey
8. Queen
9. Maluach
10. Bryant

That's probably the top 10 picks. Though considering the teams and positions, I would draft Carter Bryant at #9. If Bailey drops all the way to #9, Bailey vs CB would be some kind of debate!

I think Queen paired with Sarr makes sense. Sarr can step out and take the 3 and rim-protect, so Sarr is the PF and PnR screener on offense and the C on defense.

He’s super advanced as a scorer, a real hooper, but we’ll have to see. He’s a hooper like Melo, Beasley, Rudy Gay, etc but those types of guys don’t translate into wins.

Except all Queen has done his whole career thus far whether it's AAU/HS and Maryland is win lots of games.

Winning in high school and college is no where near the same as winning in the NBA. 90% of these guys dominate until they get to the NBA.

For those who watched film, what are the major differences and similarities between Ace Bailey and Carter Bryant?

Imagine getting offended by the thought of going back and watching game tape. Imagine not listening to anything true said about Skal and thinking that it's someone else who lacks comprehension skills. You gave zero counterpoints. I don't see how this isn't exactly a repeat of the Skal conversation. I broke down his game, you freaked out, got offended, cried, got mad, resorted to insults.

I actually watch Cashiggy. But it seems like you're the one with too much time on your hands.

This is a prime example of delusion people.

It’s understandable why you would resort to trolling and insults

So you there is a possibility that CB is a bigger VC with better perimeter defense. Give him a few more years to develop the handles. If VC and Demar can do it, so can CB3.

Right now he could be like a bit of Richard Jefferson and VC.

I’m not saying CB is VC, but lots of this board would hate VC as a freshman prospect.

True. VC had a 43 inch vert but only a 6'9 wingspan at 6'6. Gotta look at the glimpses. I guess people would view VC like Derozan as 1 and done but showed might be able to shoot the 3, though his FT shooting was not great, similar to CB. CB with the 7'0 winspan and good lateral quicks will be at least an average defender in the NBA.

VC was able to get his FT shooting fom 70% at UNC to a career 79.8% in the NBA. I think CB has small sample size as his FT form looks as good as Tatum. I think he will be able to shoot 80+% in the NBA.

As freshman prospects you’d have to rank Demar above Vince, but as NBA players prime Vince clears prime Demar.

It’s not always as cut and dry as people on here like to make it seem. Carter Bryant was held back this year and hopefully his NBA team doesn’t treat him like the coaches at Zona did. Imagine giving more opportunities to Caleb Love than a diaper dandy. Couldn’t be me.

Thanks for posting these. Interesting discussion especially about rating Newell higher than Queen. Newell the consummate pro who does what you want your bigs to do. Lacks star upside, but Queen's knock is he is only half engaged at times. He seems like an AAU kid to me even though he is 20.

Ya, I like Queen's fit with Sarr.

Sarr can play a more roaming role on defense by protecting the rim from the weakside. Queen can body up some of the bigger C's so Sarr doesn't get worn down.

On offense, Sarr can (hopefully, eventually) stretch the floor consistently while Queen operates as your hub.

Yeah, but he was a Junior, not a freshman.

I feel like Ace Bailey gets blocks and steals because he's 6'9 in shoes, which makes him only 1 inch taller than CB. CB looks like he gets into a better defensive stance and just more effort on defense.

Both have 7'0 wingspan, while Ace's vert is only 34.5, so CB has the better NBA ready body. Ace Bailey takes harder shots but he may just end up a chucker who's offense doesn't much outweigh his defense. Analytically CB has much better BPM, WS/40, ORTG and DRTG.

If you take out the pre-season bias and didn't know the 2 players and just went by their freshman years, CB has more tools and data supports him.

I only watched a few of his junior games at UNC with Jameson. I don't recall too much more bag than CB's highlights, except that he flew higher.

I guess in terms of bag, CB looks like sophomore VC with the offensive production of freshman VC. Both were PG's before their growth spurts.

Philly moves from 3 to 7 while picking up a solid rotation piece and getting Maluach at 7 would be interesting

Ace Bailey weighed in less than Gradey did at the combine. Ace needs to really bulk up.
