That’s what I think too. Suns were always going work with him. It was getting the best return from the Teams he wanted to go to, and everyone else was used to try and drive up the market.

I wish KD had wanted to be here, but oh well.

I don’t dislike former Raps, so getting to watch OG, FVV and Pascal and others have long runs is a treat.

Happy this news cycle is over, so much misinformation and ridiculous reports from guys hoping to guess right and luck into a signal boost.

I'm surprised KD fetched so little. Phoenix didn't get Reed or Jabari (zero chance they were trading Amen/Sengun), it wasn't one of those tons-of-firsts deals... I'm guessing KD really hamstrung them by refusing to discuss extension with all but 3 teams and he's not as valued as he was a few years ago.

Very relieved the Raps avoided this whole mess.

So if you're projected to go in the 2nd and you have a good NIL deal, you may choose to stay in school another year. In turn reducing the depth/quality of the 2nd round

This phenomenon will only have an impact on the short term. Eventually those players will go into the draft, and be better developed for it. So teams will actually find more talent in the 2nd round in the future.

100%. As soon as some media mouthpieces started saying that the Suns may just move him to whoever offers the best package...that was the clear tell that they in fact would NOT do that lol. It was so obvious.

Expiring Pascal = BI - Ochai + Walter

I'd argue Walter would be in play for #10 if he was in this draft
I like BI over J.Green
Brooks is better than Ochai
