you would've waived him last yr because he got injured? Were you planning on using a 19yr old raw C anytime soon? for what purpose? The 2way spot was specifically made for developmental purposes,

Because he was never really available. Constantly injured.

He literally had one injury last year & it happened when someone fell on his leg. No idea what you're on about

Then you missed all the other times he wasnt available - like right now for example. And that one major injury made him unavailable for half of the season. Talentwise he is not a superstar in the making and can be replaced. After the Koloko experience, i dont blame the FO for not beeing patient.

They better fill that 3rd spot, otherwise no other way to look at this than cost cutting.

2 Ways don't count against the cap so there is zero reason to not fill it unless MLSE really wants to save like 600k.

It seems like their plan is for Lawson to take that 2-way spot, assuming he clears waivers and doesn't receive anything but 2-way interest as a UFA.

Have we scoured the waiver wire long enough? Somebody will dump a player better than anyone we have in the pipe.

Julian Reese was signed and waved so he isn't going to take the spot.

If he is injured and won't be playing for awhile if ever freeing that spot gives you a chance to sign a young player and gives Chomche a chance to heal. This doesn't close the door on his return but gives us a chance to try out someone else and we can cut them if we need a roster spot. Micro move but allows more flexibility.

Sorry Lawson. Tax flexibility is more valuable than you to Bobby.

This post didn't age well, I guess.
...
Seriously though it's just a lateral move as it won't likely impact our season outcome.

Edit: Haha I may have misread it. I read it as if Lawson will be cut and let go but they got him back on a 2 way.

You only said they will cut him and run 14 deep roster, nothing about Lawson.

My bad.

Lawson laughs at you :)
No crow for the adamant posters?

It aged fine? We are rocking a 14-man roster lol
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Drafting 2nd round picks with a ton of potential is fun. You want to take on a 2-3 year project and see what happens. I felt like we had a good thing going with Chomche and he was looking good. The health thing has hit us hard the past few picks with him and Koloko.

I really hope we find another young big to develop in place of Chomche. The league is getting bigger and we don’t have any big prospects in the pipeline.

He didn't imply that, just that there are 14 deep main roster. My bad

57th pick wasted.

Could have at least traded down to 58.
