Anyone else thinking Masai should've played out his lame duck final year if this team turns into a young contender?

and shows it this season?

I mean it was one of those situations of like "atleast see what youve built" with everyone healthy and actually not trying to lose.

This team might be so good he would've got an extension and its a young core overall.

but I'm worried about the playoffs....luckily the East is weak but still I'm not too confident.

He's a great 4th/5th option - which is exactly what he is on this team.

I'd be open to trading him for a significant upgrade. But trading him for a group of role players would be a pretty stupid trade.

I don’t think people give Rj enough credit for being able to fit around all of these offensive players that need the ball in their hands… somehow he’s the problem though.

The only problem on this team is the lack of a backup rim protecting center. There were times when Sixers were getting multiple offensive rebounds on the same possession.

Idk, isn’t mamu the backup centre? If we get a guy like that where does mamu fit? Is he playing the 4?

BI and Scottie were rough out there, but that's the beauty of this team. Our 2 best players were anything but, and other guys stepped up. IQ was clutch AF.

Poeltl is beasting out there, to little fanfare. He and Barnes have some nice synergy going.

I'll admit it's irrational and I am likely being petty, but I just don't like Maxey. Probably just guilty by association because I loathe everything and anything about Embiid.

Mods can we please call out this negativity. Rj has a good game and people still can’t help but talk about his flaws. Why is spewing this negativity allowed, they just won and Rj had a great game scoring 50/40/90.

Let's see what they can do when they make the playoffs and far they can go. Eventually Terrence Ross, Patrick Patterson, and Greivis Vasquez, were replaced with Ibaka, Powell, and Gasol. We build up.

Ross ppat greivis wouldn't come close to cracking this starting lineup imo.

I agree . Enjoy the ride. Also I wouldn’t worry too much about the playoffs because I am pretty certain they aren’t built for it anyway and the front office knows that too. Nothing wrong with just winning games. But there were rumours we were looking for a ‘big fish’ in the off-season and I think if an opportunity presents itself, they’ll add to the team.
