Re: PG: Raptors win in OT
look at these rebounding numbers in his 2nd month in the league.

it took him a few weeks to start dominating.
cmb a genetic freak and is not normal. kinda changes the trajectory of this team, doesn't it?

Still a pretty bad game for him. His confidence is at an all-time low.
Need him to be better.
Missed most of the game except the 2 mins of OT. Was he missing open shots today
He's just not a PG especially a starting PG

That's a shame.
... I was someone who really wanted him to succeed. We really need that type of skillset.
He just... sucks.
But it's a skillset he actually doesn't seem to have unfortunately.
Personally, I see little difference between Walter and Dick so I'm good with either being gone. I don't really see anything special with Walter (his D looks comparably better next to Dick but he ain't some POA lockdown defender and he's really slight and gets easily pushed around by bigger guards) and I think with a bit more focus and minutes, Dick can be more dynamic offensively and be better. But if we just need a shooter, we can do better with Battle.
Theoretical skillset. Obviously if he had it, we'd be happy.
It's tough. Walter has shown more in terms of consistent shooting and defense. And you're right, when Dick is ''on', he's more dynamic. He's just not... "on" very often at all and it seems like it's regressing.
I could see him benefiting from a change of scenery.

Lawson is better than what he showed tonight. Nerves, maybe.

The handle is night and day from last year imo. He can dribble in the paint now. He’s not forced to pick up his dribble as much.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

IQ, Dick, and Ochai for a solid guard starter, and you’re set. Lamelo maybe? Because our defence is good enough to use him
Lamelo/Shead
RJ/Martin
Ingram/Walker
Barnes/Mamu
Poeltl/CMB
Lamelo’s playmaking is perfect for this team
He doesnt play serious...but then again its the Hornets
I'd imagine a culture reset would do wonders for him
I'm down for ANY all star PG upgrade, defence be damned when we have dawgs like Shead and Martin off the bench if necessary

How the **** did you wave off Barnes’ and-1 at the end and call a travel on a turnaround jumper with less than a minute left in regulation time? Has anyone ever seen a travel on a turnaround jumper before? Why do they think fans pay to watch these games? Why does this only seem to happen to Toronto?
I have no doubt Barnes probably has the highest percentage of and-1s waved off in the NBA. He must be averaging about one a game
I only read half way through, but Barnes 100% traveled at that end of the game play. He moved his pivot foot. 100% right call, despite he made the shot.
It sucks that sea will get away with it but that's a whole thing.
By the nature of the way a turnaround jumper works, you can call that pretty much any time you want as those are travels unless you do a perfect job. You can literally call a travel on every possession of a game…

4D chess by Scottie at the end there lol. CMB continues to impress. Guy looks like a grown man out there but he's a rookie.

Masai thank you for taking Scottie when everyone wanted Suggs
Masai thanking you for the Shead trade - I'm not his biggest fan but he's legit
Masai thanking you for hiring Darko after firing Nurse, we needed a culture reset & Darko has implemented that to the tee
Masai thank you for the OG trade, I'd much rather the 2 for 1 of IQ n RJ
Masai thanks for the BI trade,
Masai, THANK YOU
Masai wanted Maluach. Bobby overrode the decision.
You can thank Masai for bums like Dick, Walter, Chomche
Wouldn't put Chomche in there. He's what? 57th pick? And can't really blame him for being sick.

Lamelo is the obvious answer for this team man. One can only hope.

With everyone healthy we are championship contenders. Just need to move IQ and play Martin more.

That Oubre defensive possession on Scottie was so strange, almost like he fouled thinking they had one to give

I miss Palacio's missed layups in transition because he was going to fast.
Strickland was a baller.

Perfect way to describe her. She is inconsistent and has no pulse of the game. She often makes the wrong call for anything in the paint as well.
