Always thought it was weird how much Delon has bounced around the league. Always seemed like a serviceable player.

Delon had another decent game just now in another start. Just 7/4/2 in 35 minutes but solid defense and steady on offense. It is funny how he's bounced around, compared his bench mob teammates who I assume are the same age and still thriving.

At one point tonight there was a Delon -Dalano matchup for Raptor fans. Precious and Dalano were chatting postgame.

OG is really on a roll. 28/7/2 tonight plus 3 steals 2 blocks.

Always thought it was weird how much Delon has bounced around the league. Always seemed like a serviceable player.

Not surprised about Trent, he's a deadly catch and shoot guy and he's in a good system for that as we saw with Malik Beasley. He's terrible at everything else offensively but if you have him on that Grayson Allen shot diet, he's going to be pretty efficient.

This shouldn't be suuuuper surprising. He's up near 21% of his attempts from the corner now, and shooting over 48% from there. He hasn't shot over 19.6% of his attempts from the corner since his second season... when he shot 41.8% on the season from 3. He is also at the highest rate of assisted 3s of his career at 90.7% (up from 90.4% last year, only his second season of 90%+).

Awesome clip. Fred and Pascal were not happy when norm was traded for Trent. And they never fully embraced him. It was like he was always an outsider to them.

Norm and fred and Pascal were like a bonded trio and you could tell they felt like a crew. OG was a little outside of them. At least that was my perception. I think fred was especially resistant to bringing Trent into the fold. I remember one random play where fred was caught on the hoop mic saying "what was THAT Gary?" on a blown assignment.

Norm definitely had his share of blown assignments...but he always pointed at his own chest. Gary used to debate the matter.

It makes complete sense to trade a player for a guy 6 years his junior who was looking like was on an upward trajectory.

See this is the problem with these arguments… is when I make a statement at the time saying it’s obvious to me that Trent will never even be as good as Powell you say, there’s no way you can make that statement… and then in hindsight when it ends up that way you say, well at the time it looked like the potential was there…

either way apparently there’s no acceptance about my player evaluation. This is exactly what the front office gets paid to do is make projections and make decisions based on said projections. Trent did not have the talent of powell and his potential was never even higher than Powell. His upward trajectory would never have allowed him to reach Powell level because of his limited skillset. It was obvious at th time of the trade. Don’t attack my player evaluations and then argue with me in hindsight when I end up being right. I’m not even someone that criticizes the front office every move in a blanket statement or act like they should be fired because of it.
