I hope Hayes and Salmons never play another minute in a Raps uni. That was pathetic.

Psycho T in for Hayes all day. Also is Fields healthy enough to play Salmons' minutes?

Salmon is very horrible...he is suppose to be the vet guy that control the situation...but he let the situation goes out of control...

Anyways, Patman should make sure he contest the shot because the game is still going on...even though it looks like a backcourt...and Jonas...is Jonas...

Never have the words "While you were sleeping" been more appropriate.

When i woke up this morning still couldnt believe we squandered a 26 point lead in the playoffs. Courtersy of Johnson, Vasquez and Dwane "the veteran's guy" Casey.

Hahaha, well now i know why he puts Salmons and Hayes on the floor in 4th quarter. Without this duo we wouldn't win this game. :D

Casey talks same crap after every game...

Possibly one of the best basketball games I have attended, and I have attended a lot of basketball games.

Being at that game felt like my nerve endings were going to burn off. I don't understand how we won that.

I honestly do not know what to chalk that huge meltdown to, I really don't.

I was at the bar with my friend and just before the 4th started I said to him, "They would have to actually allow 40+ pts and get doubled up to lose this game, but its the Raptors, and it's happened before".

When I actually seen it starting to happen, I was going to have my own meltdown. Some random older gentleman struck up a conversation between the 3rd and 4th quarter and with a 24 pt lead I felt that they were safe even despite what I told my friend, so this man talking wasn't really bothering me much. When they lead got down to 10 and the man was still talking my head off, I almost lost it. The lead went further and further down. I'm convinced the older man was the devil himself or some type of bad omen. He probably wasn't even a real human being.
I don't understand how this franchise historically has blown some huge, huge, leads. How do they not just slow the pace down like the 02-04' Pistons used to do and wind the shot clock down but still get a good shot. Kyle has trained with Billups, he should know how to do this.

I chalk up the blown lead as the curse of Andrea Bargnani still lurking. I never seen so many blown leads when he was a part of this team.

A decisive win would have been nice to eliminate all the "well the Net's could have won" comments. They got the win and that's the important thing but wow.

All I know is Coach Casey must have been like...

On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

Raptors got too comfortable with their lead. They should have expected the Nets to make a final run - all teams make a final run when down by 10-20 points. Lazy passes and horrible Defense to let the Nets back in. It was a lack of focus on the team. It was also Casey trotting out his subs at the beginning of the 4th (too early Coach!). Then there is Amir... suddenly turned dumb in the 4th.

Yep, you're right. It was too early for subs. He should have played the starters until 8 minutes left, gave them a breather and then bring them back later. Was GV part of the meltdown squad? He did hit a huge 3 close to the end though.

blatche was abusing psycho t last time. I might put Tyler on Teletovic maybe and tell him to stick to him like glue and be really agressive

I was thinking the same thing last night. I was going to be done with basketball forever. Hopefully they can close the series out...hopefully.

Boogie! wrote:we shouldn't be proud??? SO WE SHOULD ALL JUST GIVE UP AND CONCEDE THE SERIES TO THE NETS??? this is so **** ridiculous man... do you guys WANNA WIN! winners win... it doesn't matter if it's almost, if it's ugly, if they were hurt... THE RAPTORS WON! THEYRE BETTER THAN THE NETS! THEYVE SHOWED WHY! and they need to come out again IN THE NEXT GAME AND GIVE THE FINAL KNOCKOUT PUNCH... my god man... WE'RE UP 3-2! WE'RE NOT DOWN! WE'VE BEEN IN EVERY SINGLE GAME! WE'VE DOMINATED FOR PORTIONS OF GAMES! THE NETS HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DOMINATE US! WAKE UP! we're better period... it took a HUGE RUN FOR THE NETS TO GET BACK IN and still LOSE. this attitude that "OMG, NETS OMG SO EMBARASSING THEY ALMOST CAME BACK, OMG FEEL SORRY FOR MYSELF WERE RATTLED" is so pathetic and if you're honestly gonna use that as an excuse for the raptors players, then THEY WOULD BE PATHETIC if they felt that way... but the fact that they PULLED THIS ONE OUT and WON the game, and MADE CLUTCH PLAYS AT THE END, shows they don't... they're more resilient than that...

I think fans are more upset about the WAY Brooklyn came back. They didn't simply make shots, it was nearly a full quarter of very lackadaisical play from Toronto, coupled with completely bone-headed mistakes over and over again. Nets were an inexplicable Blatche turnover away from Deron Williams having a wide open shot at the top of the key to win it. At this stage of the game, they need to be a lot sharper.

When they put Teletovic at the 4 why don't we throw a wing at him? He had plenty of open looks because PP and amir can't chase him..
