If Scottie is going to be our future point Center, I want to see Scottie hit the gym more this summer and come out like the Hulk for the second season (or start going on what diet Lebron James went on).

He's already huge. Any more weight would slow him down.

I don't think he's going to be a full time anything.

There will be defensive possessions where he will guarding the point of attack, there will be other possessions where he's guarding the big wing off ball and there will be some possessions where he's going to be banging in the post with a big.

Offensively, he's going to be the ballhandler, he's going to playing in the post, lots of dribble handoff stuff and he could play a little off ball if the shot comes along.

This versatility makes him so valuable. He could go from defending Jokic on one possession to Murray or MPJ on another.

He is the closest thing to a center this current starting lineup has. He does guard the opponent’s bigs, does most of the jump balls, is very effective scoring in the post, and makes plays down low too. While he is a bit short, he has great wingspan (7’3), and more importantly he has great hands. Nurse ran some plays for Scottie similar to what he did with Marc Gasol.

Make no mistake, THE only reason why Pascal and Scottie play the 5 is because we can’t send GTJ to the bench.

I've been saying it for a while now. One of GTJ or OG will need to come off the bench eventually. Precious is too good defensively to not start, and Pascal/Scottie are simply not full-time Cs.

Can't and won't are two totally different things.

OG isn't the guy that needs to move to the bench, that would be a silly decision by Nurse, and one I'm confident he won't make.

It is what it is - if Nurse continues with the FVV/GTJ/OG/PS/SB line up, then someone is going to have to play the C spot even if we don't believe in positions anymore (because the other teams will be playing Cs). Scottie has the wingspan to guard Cs, just needs to get even stronger. He will probably be one of the most mobile Cs out there.
