If these guys can learn to win without Poeltl we could surge once he's back.

What a pointless update. Why even do this?

The negative spin on this is that he probably needs surgery but they are trying rehab first to get him through the season before going that route. Anyone else interpret this any other way?

I mean, I interpret it exactly the way the update says. Why the need to read anything else into it? He has a back problem, they're trying to deal with it conservatively, and they hope he'll be fine in a week.

I guess? But why give us an update when there is another decision in a week? Why not say he's out for another week and we'll have an update next week?

Yeah I was expecting serious news. Why even mention there's going to be an update if it's just one extra week of rehab? Kind of strange.

The Raptors had a light workout in Boston today. Poeltl practised, Scottie and BI did not, but Grange says he was told not to read much into Scottie sitting out.

I'm like 90% sure RJ's injury was also meniscus, but they just let it heal on its own

Uhhh, this is great news that BI is listed as questionable - most likely means it's not long term. Hes not out, not even doubtful.
