If Cooper didn't declare this year and the draft class for next year improved as a result, GMs are going to try to tank harder for next year's draft than they would have otherwise thanks to the enriched pool of talent.

Same, I feel like one of the Spurs, Jazz, and Sixers are gonna get it. Obviously it’s a lottery and anything can happen but I’m not that optimistic that we move up for some reason. I think losing our pick last year is giving me ptsd.

This isnt true at all. Wemby was the much better prospect and the Raptors actively tried to get a worse draft spot!

In 2 yrs you'd say the same thing about Cooper when the next new prospect hits the stage
