I would give BC an extension if he is able to unload both Bargnani and Calderon before Christmas

Maybe MLSE brought in BC because he would give hope in his first 2 years, to show the fan we care.

Then basically kill the franchise slowly. Make them bad enough where an American business man would buy the team and relocate it.

NBA in Canada comes to an end.

Do the Raptors even have a 1st round pick next year? We can't even tank for a purpose.

Should've used green font! Apparently the homers think this team is going to turn things around even though the schedule still looks terrible in January (we're playing 11 playoff-bound teams).

Our last seven games of the season are against CHI x 2 (with D-Rose back), BKN, ATL, BOS, MIN, and MIL.

it's top 3 protected, I'd rather have a really bad team and get a top 3 pick, rather than a mediocre team that finishes 8th to 12th place

Yes, especially while Harry Rosen is still hiring.

Then they lose it the next year, or the year after. They're giving up a high first rounder regardless.

Hell, I'd eat a crow, a goat, and a shark if it would get BC fired faster.

That's when they'll start losing only 2/3 of the games they play instead of 4/5.

The point was its smarter that we add a better quality piece high in the draft than making a meaningless run to fall just short of the playoffs.

tell u this- if BC gets the boot, it's Stefanski's 2 lose. part of me most of me all of me thinks the only reason they brought Stefanski in was as a potential successor: if they played well, they'd re-up Bryan in the summer and cut Ed loose w/ a golden parachute for a top gig elsewhere; if not, the Stefanski Yrs! would begin in Toronto and he'd hit the ground running. i think the succession plan aws the only reason they brought Ed into an already crowded office space and it was (as it continues 2 b) a complete team effort; they made no secrets abt it- esp not 2 BC. hell, he mightv even designed it; for all we know BC mighta bn the one to appoint his successor w/ the blessing of the Board; it's a dirty business @ Maple Leaf Square. whotf knows.

Stefanski taking over would be so us. In that the bulk of those who were okay with the choice were premising it on his having a limited role, moving him up with BC out would be...yeah, that's how we roll.

The day BC is fired is the day I start watching the Raps regularly again. The Lowry trade has all the ingredients to be a disaster. I can't believe BC didn't get more heat for once AGAIN mortgaging our future. Maybe a worst case scenario (giving the 4th pick to the Thunder) will finally get him fired. Lowry isn't even secured FFS.

Tell that to BC!
