Good backup I guess. Meanwhile Austin Daye played 6 minutes per game.

European talent is harder to evaluate because its not a wide open game and very team oriented. Look, Rubio already had +20 point games in the NBA, last time he scored 20 in Europe, was 4 and a half years ago...
One thing for sure, CSKA > Bobcats.

As long as Jonas and Linas plays for Raptors, I will care :)

I think CSKA would be competing for playoff spot in NBA (EC especially). They are a great team. And some of NBA teams are just atrocious.
I like watching Spurs very much, great team basketball, great coach. This is what most NBA teams seem to lack - great teamplay. Too much of "give Carmelo <insert other star> the ball and gtfo".
But the basketball is not better or worse, it's just different.

IDK, you have to consider that a lot of teams were tanking in the EC.. actually all but Bucks and Pistons (so they are better off than you think).. I cant see CSKA beating us (the Raptors) for example..

It's funny, in these moments of inferiority you know who has game by seeing who keeps his cool. You lost yours and are trying to convince a NA forum that euroleague is the better league. If it was so great, you wouldn't be here, but yes, I must be the idiot, (TBH).

If its so great, you would not need to prove it to some guy on a forum with a dog as his avatar.

BTW, your league is horrible. What is that crap on your uniforms, is that advertising? Why are some teams named after products? ....maybe because you guys suck at your sport? Ever think of that, sport?

I didn't lose my cool, I was merely stating a fact. I mean your trolling is pretty weak, meaning either you are an idiot who doesn't notice that or you are an idiot who can't troll properly.

Aniway. I wasn't trying to convince that Euroleague is better league, becasue that simply wouldn't be true. I was saying that it's not highschool league as you've mentioned it to be and it's pretty serious league, but for a person who doesn't follow it and draws conclusions out of stereotypes and myths I guess it's a highschool league. W/E buddy, I'm done with you aniways.

You got flustered, its okay... take a breath. I am cool with discussing the merits of our two leagues and I feel I have done that in this thread.

You can make your case, and people will judge.

Obviously I am embellishing it just as much as you embellished your stance in your post. So don't get all bent out of shape, I don't want some kid crying on his pillow in Europe. (sorry I can't help it - mean you the best, if you want to debate I am here for ya)

That is absolutely not true.

from24ft wrote:In all fairness, they don't have to. If they support Jonas, they support us, lol, at least for as long as Jonas is a raptor. ...but don't insult the tank commander, you might piss them off that way too.

It's okay, all Europeans are welcome, we love teaching basketball over here. You guys have to learn the game eventually.

I wouldn't bet against CSKA for sure to beat you. All you have over them is better athletes really.

See this is where the strategy falls apart. ...and I hope you can understand my thinking.

Seems to me that euroleague teams beat NBA teams in preseason. Usually it takes an amazing game by the euroleague team, and frenzied coaching performance by the coach. They are all excited hugging each other like they won some sort of championship... meanwhile the NBA players on the other side are like damn, wonder what the new guys think of me, wonder if coach will give me the same role this year, who the hell are these guys, i don't know them, but i bet you they know me.

...so, you guys basically get orgasms winning preseason games when we are trying out D leaguers. Still commendable, but common, you want to talk intelligence but you do not want to analyze the situation at hand.

(and you forget that once you equalize coaching talent trumps, infact talent makes coaches, all your good coaches have good players)

Nah I don't get orgasms, tbh I don't really care about it.
USA national team (not some lottery team like Raps) got beaten several times in championships lately and really CSKA is better than a lot of NTs. I'm not saying they would definitely get to POs, but they would fight for 8th spot imo.
Well that's my opinion, we can agree to disagree on this.

Lets just say that if CSKA was in OUR league the Bobcats would have the 2nd most lottery balls.

USA NT was not a team until it started being constructed like one.

I agree to disagree with you, you guys are good ballers, just not as good as us. :D it's all good, i am black and you are white, together we are the ying and yang of knowledge. Just saying a debate is only good when two people stand their ground.

well there you go, soccer sucks. what do you want me to say? It's horrible, a bunch of people get drunk and sing songs then fight... you sit there for a mind numbing 90 minutes looking for bullets to put in the revolver to take you out of your misery.

sure, I love it during the world cup, but i dont give a damn about the players, in fact I just root for my country and want other countries (which usually represent my friends) to fail so that I can say something funny, as if I had something to do with the result.

snore fest for me, sorry

LOL, and the acting is ****ing hilarious, deserves the Liberace award of all sports. Maybe they think that drunk people will remember the logos... and buy more wieners or whatever the team is named.

The uniform is pure, if you bend over on uniform, your sport is not pure. Would the all blacks put AIG on that jersey?

Do you not even read your OWN posts?

Nobody cares what you think about soccer.

(I am pretty sure nobody cares what you think about basketball either...but I digress)

You said:

So I showed you two of the best soccer players in the world with advertising on their uniforms.

Now go back to watching the Bud Light Halftime Show presented by KIA Motors and see the Ex-Lax "Smooth Move of the Game" delivered in high definition by UPS.

The All-Blacks are a National Rugby Team. National soccer teams have no corporate logos.

Here is what a New Zealand club team jersey looks like

That you did. And the contention holds true for soccer. You get props, well played. Soccer still sucks in my world and hence is not a consideration. The guys that did not make the football team at my school played soccer.

Imagine them being the first ones to sell out.

(and your timing was self serving)
