Ayo Dosunmu as a late second isn't bad. Would not mind him or Carr as the 3rd string PG.
N'Doye is another raw G-F, who is raw but seems he can play the point. He reminds me of Wright in his size, looks a bit like McGrady, not sure about his athleticism on that comparison.

Limited as a big, not a good passer / ball handler, but a good shot blocker and defender. A bit of a tweener, not tall enough to be a C, and may not possess enough perimeter skill to be a Forward.

Chris Smith
https://dailybruin.com/2020/04/14/scouting-report-chris-smith/

Might as well just run with Boucher.

What do you mean?
Chris Smith is likely a SF, he likes to handle the ball on the perimeter more. But his assists is very limited, not a good finisher, so he plays a different position than Boucher.

As for Diakite, he plays down low, more like Ibaka lite with limited passing, or RHJ with better hops and shooting. I don't think he plays like Boucher either.

Oh, I was referring to Diakite. I didn't click the Chris Smith link.

Ayo is my guy. What a mid range assassin! And clutch to go along with it. The kid's mindset and worth ethic is relentless. I can see him being a Monta Ellis type of steal in the 2nd round.

Elleby could b a 1st round pick, but meeting 8 NBA teams do not mean anything though.

It means that at least 8 NBA teams are interested in him...that is something which is the opposite "do not mean anything".

Another guy we should scout for #58 or undrafted talent is Trevelin Queen. 6'6" SR shooting guard playing at New Mexico State. He'll be 23 by the time the draft rolls around so he's ranked quite low, but reminds me a lot of Terrence Ross. He's a long, run and jump guard who can defend and hit the 3 at a nice clip.

13 ppg
5 rpg
2 apg
2 stl
47 FG%
39 3p% on over 5 attempts per game

He has a similar story to Jimmy Butler where he was homeless at a young age, then worked his way from JuCo to the NCAA, which is why he's already 23.

I mentioned him before, but things get lost in the Pac-12 trees.

He's a feel good story and is a consideration at #58.

Another player that the Raptors should consider in the 2nd round or as an UDFA is G Myles Powell (Seton Hall). He is a 4 year player like Terrence Davis was and could be ready to contribute as a rookie.

Poku, or Grant Riller with the first round pick (although I suspect Poku will be off the board).

Would love Isaiah Joe in the second round.

And looking way ahead to 2021 Deuce McBride

I am definitely willing for us to take the risk on Poku.

I like Joe too, he's a first round talent but seems to underrated for some reason

I like N'doye but not as a PG, i don't think he has the skills for that in the NBA. Could be good wing though if he learns to shoot

Dosunmu is interesting, I'm not sure what to think of Scrubb and Kofi Cockburn (pronounced Co-burn lol) is a big athletic C, could be interesting as an Undrafted guy i guess.

Also for the Makur Maker fans, i believe he's also looking for a first round guarantee to stay in the draft so i wouldn't expect him to come out this year.

Seem to be Harden type of player.
Very unsure about his defense, as seen on the clips, he gambles a lot. If he can't get that steal, it would be a blowby.

After looking at the scouting video of N'Doye, he does not seem to make any passes. Interesting prospect, but shall see if he works out within the Raptors system.

Meanwhile, it seems there are many first round quality prospect next year 2021, from Maker, Mane, etc. I would trade this year pick for next or the year after

Return to Toronto Raptors
